Aint that the truth. Hopefully the Brighton game has helped highlight the issue.

Remy said something similar about us. Unless actually make a Roma bid, he's follow the pay check.
-
You'd like to think his age would make him a squad player. We dont really have any left back cover.

Sky sports news said we've bid for Massadio Haidara. Profile

It's only 1-0....

Bookies have them as favourites! Sure a few players are rested, but the team isnt that bad, £50 on us at 2-1!

That's my take on it as well. Anyone who activates a buy-out clause has earned the move they get and shouldn't be looked down-on for wanting more. I'd have been put out if he'd left on the 31st Jan, but he hasn't, so I wish him all the best!

lots of over reactions. We are mising.. Simpson, Taylor. HBA, Cabaye, Jonas Ba That's over half of our regular first team missing! What on earth do you expect from pardew, he put on Ranger ffs. That;s how limited his options are! Cabaye and Jonas are back in training, Simpson is being replaced. Ba will be replaced, hopefully with Remy. So calm down, we'll get our season back on track no bother. And with a bit of luck well hit form for the UEFA cup..

Alan Pardew - Poltroon sacked by a forrin team
Phil replied to Kid Dynamite's topic in Newcastle Forum
My guess is he promised Ba he'd give him more time upfront so he wouldnt leave on the cheap. I agree 4231 suits our players and is a much better formation. I think he'd be better off rotating Ba/Cisse as the main man.- 10610 replies

You said... Tiote was injured, so Cabaye is the only other experienced central midfielder that could ensure a convincing win. So you'll have to be specific than "someone better" and "anyone but Gosling", who exactly? Vuckic, Raylor, Perch, Anita? There's no way any of them would have got a "more convincing result" . All this while the fact remain Pardew got everything he set out to achieve. If you'd made the point in a Gosling thread then fair enough, you are entitled to your incorrect opinion, but to level it at Pardew is laughable.- 10610 replies

So you'd have played Cabaye in 30 degree heat on the Thursday, then again on the Saturday away to Chelsea. Then this week play him on the Thursday and Sunday? What if the had he played him on Thursday and the game run 120 minutes? He had Cabaye on the bench and could bring him on, if needed. Moreover, In the first game he took Gosling off after 64 minutes and in the second game we were 1 nil up. So the risk was always minimal.- 10610 replies

My point still stands. He played Gosling to rest others. We didnt lose in any of the games Gosling took part of, so what more is it you want? Hardly a reason to the the manager is on the wain? fwiw, Gosling was highly rated at Everton because he had a good engine on him and could get up and down the field. Injuries steeming back from his last season at Everton have meant he's never got his fitness back, so the Everton and Newcastle fans that dont rate him, arent really giving him a fair account. But to reiterate the point, we got the results we wanted with Gosling in the team.- 10610 replies

Pardew has made a lot of below average player acceptable - Perch, Guthrie, Simpson, Raylor, Best. Very finicky to expect more - moreso if its just because he plays Gosling in games we dont lose. Maybe you could be more specific about what you think he should be doing?- 10610 replies

4-4-2 is very out dated and as we saw on Saturday you get over run when you play against a 4-3-3. I can only imagine it was for Ba's benefit. Two holding midfielders like City would plays to our strengths; Krul Simpson Staylor Coloccini Santon Tiote Anita HBA Cabaye Ba Cisse It would also give HBA the freedom to roam and Ba to stay forward;

Very little resale value in a 27 year old and with players like Cissokho (24) available, I dont think Ashley will lose any sleep over it. This might seems craxzy, but Cisse's club wanted 15m last summer. It's a shame, but clubs will soon learn Newcastle have alternative targets...

Are you using the powerline as a wireless bridge i.e. the desktop doesnt have wireless capability, so you are using the wifi booster to get onto the iPhone's wireless connection? If so, 1) You are king of the pikies... 2) Log onto the powerline and check it is in bridge mode (default will be wifi extender). manually adding your IP details will help remove IP issues. To change the network type from public to home. search for "Network and Sharing Center" and click on the network type (it will say Public network if its set as public)
