Alan Pardew - Poltroon sacked by a forrin team
Phil replied to Kid Dynamite's topic in Newcastle Forum
I doubt Taylor or Tiote in form would have changed the performance. Who's place would Jonas have taken?- 10610 replies

I'm surprised they didnt man mark him.

Gouffran can play centrally
-
It's 100% a marketing ploy to force upgrades. The 64bit phone will play all the 32bit apps, but give it a year and loads of new apps will be 64bit only; or they'll intentionally make the 32bit version run dog slow

The game was infinitely better to watch than Fulham and West Ham. Felt sorry for your fullbacks, Lambert seem to be happy to let Ben Arfa have a field day.
-
Excellent result!
-
No excuse for constantly being off-side. Half the time he gains almost nothing from the extra yards he steals.
-
Gouffran has shown more than enough to get in the team ahead of him.
-
heart in mouth when a sitter fell to Goufran!
-
Sissoko was supposed to be picking him up.
-
I wonder how many of the Villa fans that have been praising Agbonlahor will feel the same after that miss!
-
Cisse is a massive weak link in our team
-
Remy being a right handful means HBA has been one-on-one with the full back loads. I expect them to try and kick us off the park in the 2nd half, just like last season.
-
Surprised only one person mentioned Coloccini, he'd improve them loads.

We're away from home so I think well be playing 3 central midfielders.

They're set to start making a budget version, which is quite a big change in direction.

the long term effect of mike ashley on newcastle united
Phil replied to diogenes's topic in Newcastle Forum
We were being run at a massive loss. -
If he has managed to get an option to buy (or we do buy Remy), the guy will have done a very good job imo If we get Gomis on a pre-contract in Jan... he'd have done outstanding. Lots of if's mind

Wanting to play youth is all well and good, but there's no excuse for getting rid of Collins - that was short sighted!
-
Remy should be starting, so I think we'll do really well going forward. How well we do will depend on which Cisse turns up! I can also see Cabaye being at the top of his game; he's got a point to prove to the booing fans, France and Arsenal. I'm not overly concerned with Benteke, however I can see Agbonlahor's pace being a real issue for Colochini. This should be a much more interesting than the dross Fulham and West Ham brought to St James.

Which of the "other 14" would you take the front line of?

Excellent post. It highlight we're all f**ked if we take two injuries. Fulham, Swansea, Villa and Southampton are on a similar level - none are better. Remy Cisse HBA (as i think we'll line up) is very good, and Gouffran is a decent backfill. I just skimmed through trying to work out if anyone had much a better 3rd and 4th to Shola and Gouffran. As most people would agree the issue is Shola being a regular. -
CT said he wanted Llambias back. I compared the 2012 Llambias signings to 2013 Kinnear. Any of you have a better way to do it? ...no didn't think so. So add to the debate instead of moaning. I even said used the impact they'd have on the first team. Relevant and on point.
