  1. Haha even if we did stop buying his shite, we wouldn't make a dent on his books. And as for refusing to go to games, you think that'll do the team any good? Since they constantly thank us for our support? hahahahahaha bit of pee nearly came out then
  2. Jonas has been average so far. Seems to have lost his will to take the man on. And when he passes, he just stands there. Just started to notice this recently. His work rate is no better than others. Defending is shocking, and will give up the chase when backtracking.
  3. Are you on glue? Nah mate, am just fcking nuts!
  4. Hope Man City game is on. Looking forward to that!!!!
  5. Highest point: Sending the mackems back home after 5-1. Pity they didn't have further to travel feeling like shit. Lowest point: Hughton Game of the season: 5-1 Goal of the year: Ben Arfa's wonder strike against Everton Worst moment: Joey Barton punching Gamst Pederson after a wonderful start to the season, and pushing for an England call-up Most improved player: Carroll Most disappointing player: Jonas (so far) Jonas seems to have lost confidence this season. He used to run the left side ragged. Two, three, fours defenders it didnt matter. Couple of touches and gone. But now he looks lost. Won't push forward, won't take a man on, and when passes, he doesn't move. Because of this, Enrique is having to be conservative in his attacking. A shame really. Come on Jonas, we want our spiderman back.
  6. excited about seeing him play. Hope he's got a good cross, so can throw him on the right and play Barton in the middle. Could then play Nolan up front then
  7. Hope we've learned a valuable lesson from the near miss of signing Beckford and how mediocre he's been in the prem. And hope that we stay well clear from signing either of them. BIG step up like, and they smell of Leon Best signings.
  8. The rumour of Pardew liking Charlie Adam is a good thing I think. Drop Jonas, and shove Adam out on the left. And get him and Enrique working in sync, so Enrique can get past him and push forward, and if we lose the ball, Adam just to sit back and soak the pressure up/track back and defend. Think it would work very well. Adam's work rate is very very good and has a wicked left foot. Jonas however, his workrate is terrible and his defending begs the question...who in their right mind thought he could play at RB???
  9. Fuck Bent, I am warming to the bloke. He seems to be doing the right things at the right time. ie, Tiote on long term contract, Saylor to sign a new contract, keep Carroll and Barton. Guy seems to have his head screwed on. And as for the rumours of Adam? Yes please. Put him out on the left, with Barton on the right. :-)
  10. If we pick up points between now and stevenage, that puts us the mid-20's to back 20's, then I think we should be very serious about pushing for it in the cup. Best chance for us to get Europe before expected, and if the draw is kind to us, I don't see why not. Hope for some upsets in the 3rd round (not us), and then avoid prem clubs and boom
  11. Would rather he sign a new contract and keep him than sell him. Reckon he's better than Williamson, worth the money, and definately better than Jose Fonte who is touted for a move from league one to us. :-S worrying. sell taylor for 5 and buy Fonte for 1.5
  12. Could take Strolla, Smith and Guthrie while he's at it.
  13. Just read that if Chrissy gets the job at West Ham, the first thing he wants to do is sign Joey Barton. Honestly he'll ruin us. Because Joey won't be the only player that would be interested in working with Hughton again. And what will happen is, he'll take a couple of players from us, key ones, and then sods law West Ham will work their way away from the bottom, and we'll get dragged into it. Love the man for what he's done for us, but I hope and pray that he doesn't get a job in the Premier League in the near future. I reckon Barton, Enrique, Nolan etc would all like the idea of working with him again. Bad Days!
  14. I agree, but who sets him up? Mr. Barton. So its fair to say, no Barton, no Carroll goals. (except the stunner against Liverpool).
  15. I have this down as a draw. tough game away like. 1-1
  16. Am a believer that he does care, and he genuinely wants the club to do well. But as Keegan said, he knows nothing of football and has a guy running the club thats knows even less. Saying that, I'm not saying am pro-ashley but I do think that he wants you to do well
  17. NUFC - played=17 points =22 We have been quite erratic this season, losing to Blackpool, Stoke, Blackburn etc but have amazingly beaten Arsenal, Chelsea (cup), Liverpool, Villa, Mackems (). Breaking down our next handful of games and my predictions: Birmingham (Away) - Draw (1pt) Man City (Home) - Draw (1pt) Tottingham (Away) - Lose Wigan (Away) - Win (3pt) West Ham (Home) - Win (3pt) Mackems (Away) - Draw (1pt) I make that 9 from a possible 18. Which would sit us nicely at 31 points on the 16th January. 40 points is been touted as the point of safety. I think we can have this done by mid February. Especially if theres a bit of cash to spend, and we can find ourselves a pacy striker to partner Carroll. What do you's reckon? Is there a chance of getting a Europa League spot? I'm happy with safety, but at this rate, could we be in store for a little more if Pardew can steady the ship? (thats a big if). Its the first time he's beaten Liverpool, so lets hope he sticks with the roots set by CH.
  18. If Nolan and Barton are missing, PaddyPower is offering 1250-1 for torres to score first, 6-0. hahaha Also get 15-2 for Liverpool handicap (-2) Can see am positive about saturday
  19. http://www.talksport.co.uk/radio/drivetime...tment-newcastle Lets all wait and crucify him once he's proved you all right. Get over yourselves having a crack now and wait till he mucks up. Chant at Ashley but not at Pardew. We need to show some sort of support to try and stop any kind of mass sale in January/Summer. Because I for one will be absolutely gutted if the likes of Carroll/Enrique/Barton/Jonas/Vuckic/Simpson/Tiote are sold. Everyones looking for someone to blame. Its shifted from Ashley, to Beardo, to Pardew etc etc blah blah blah. Come on...one man is responsible for it, Fat Man Ashley. What am saying is, lets see what Pardew does and then can have a pop. If he left because of the heat.....who do you expect will want to come and take the job? We'll end up shooting ourselves in the foot. rant over.
  20. (to the tune of 'oh colocini') Ohhhh Mr Pardew Your the bairn of my life Ohhhh Mr Pardew Your not shagging my wife Ohhhh Mr Pardew I want Hughton back too!
  21. Friad not, pulled it up off the Newsnow website. do what? It's not my website, I pulled it up off Newsnow. http://www.newsnow.co.uk/h/Sport/Football/...ewcastle+United So even if I did own this website, it would get enough publicity. Don't be haters, just contributing an interesting article I read. What did you post mate? Is it about Shepherd and his similar thoughts to Ashley? JT
  22. I find it amusing you consider that a posibility tbh. Haha you obviously have a short memory from when Hughton was put in charge. Maybe not you personally, but a lot of doubters on here!!!!
  23. Tell you what I find amusing. That if Pardew comes in, perform, attracts some decent new players, gets us into a decent position at the end of the season, all you haters will love him. Same with Hughton. Everyone was unsure on the appointment and that it was the only option. But he did a job. Attitudes change so easily. Don't write him off until he does fail then you can say 'I told you so!'
