The rumour of Pardew liking Charlie Adam is a good thing I think. Drop Jonas, and shove Adam out on the left. And get him and Enrique working in sync, so Enrique can get past him and push forward, and if we lose the ball, Adam just to sit back and soak the pressure up/track back and defend. Think it would work very well. Adam's work rate is very very good and has a wicked left foot. Jonas however, his workrate is terrible and his defending begs the question...who in their right mind thought he could play at RB???

If we pick up points between now and stevenage, that puts us the mid-20's to back 20's, then I think we should be very serious about pushing for it in the cup. Just read that if Chrissy gets the job at West Ham, the first thing he wants to do is sign Joey Barton. Honestly he'll ruin us. Tell you what I find amusing. That if Pardew comes in, perform, attracts some decent new players, gets us into a decent position at the end of the season, all you haters will love him. Same with Hughton. Everyone was unsure on the appointment and that it was the only option. But he did a job. Attitudes change so easily. Don't write him off until he does fail then you can say 'I told you so!'
