Looks like a good Nile Ranger. Yes Please!

Less security and stewards required. No-one to 'clash' with away fans up there.

Why not compare once Pardew has had a proper transfer window and has his team out there?
-
Think people are been too hasty in judging Pardew. He came in when most fans were raging over Hughton sacking, took over another manager's players/purchases and had to try and keep us up. He had one transfer window, which was the shortest and the most difficult to bring in quality for a good price. I think judgements should be made around November next season. Its makes me laugh really. Hyperthetically speaking, if he keeps tiote, barton, nolan, enrique etc and brings in 4-5 quality players and we're suddenly competing higher up the table (around europa spot), people will be on here stating their love for the man and how well he's done. All forgeting the slating he's taken on here. Give him time to judge.
-
Just looked at the table and only been 7 points clear worries me a little. How stupid is Pardew going to look if results all go against us and we're relegated. I don't understand why he would say we're safe when mathematically we're not. Kind of digging your own grave?

Alan Pardew - Poltroon sacked by a forrin team
loonyTOON replied to Kid Dynamite's topic in Newcastle Forum
he's not done anything different to Houghton either though, and it's not like he's got a lot of changes to choose from. Selection and tactics wise we could do it with that squad, team basically picks itself with the lack of viable players. ...and even then he's made some howlers. I don't think anyone thought he would be "worse" than Houghton really though, we all thought he'd be probably around the same but no better so there was no reason to bring him in, and the main problem of him being a puppet/mouthpiece for the higher ups which he is. I think your wrong. Pardew is willing to make the changes to both personel and tactics where Hughton wouldn't have. We would not have seen Ferguson in the prem, we'd have lost last night because we would of had a defensive set-up which sets the tone. Pardew was brave and changed tactics in a match to three at the back with two wing backs flying up the pitch. CH would never of done it. So to say Pardew does exactly the same, well your wrong. Give him a proper transfer window, after he's seen good amounts of the players and let's see what happens next season.- 10610 replies

All i've done is cuss at Sam Allardyce all fucking match. Who is Williams? Can you not pronounce Gutierrez? And his chat is so smelly that even a fart would keel over. -

Would of prefered Ireland to start instead of Guthrie and bit worried about Krul. However, no Ferdinand is good, Ameobi to put pressure on Smalling and O'Shea versus Jonas and Enrique will be interesting. I'm thinking 1-0/2-1 NUFC or 1-1 -

I agree mate. Especially since Krul is in the sticks. Ooooo I'm going to close my eyes whenever he needs to kick. -

Michael Owen is a tampon, is a tampon. Michael Owen is a tampon, is a tampon. He's in for a week, out for a month. Michael Owen, your a fucking tampon! -
Lee Ryder wrote on the Chronicle site about Ben Arfa been at the Gateshead game on Saturday, and that he had said that he wanted to take in the atmosphere and see a local game. I received a mms on my phone yesterday evening, to open it and find a picture of a very lush Mercedes ride with plate beginning in, "BA...". This was sent from my brother and it turns out Hatem came into the bar that they were in yesterday and that my brother's friend was chatting with him for ages in there. He told us that he's such a nice guy, genuine, and seems keen to talk to fans and locals, rather than hiding away in a millionaire mansion and forgetting those who sing his name. Now I remember getting a similar call when Andy Carroll was out in town, and as my brother approached him to speak to him, a 'heavy' who was with him was quick to throw my brother in the other way. I've been curious as to the motives of Ben Arfa. Does he want to play in Black 'n White? Why does he love the place so much? I always thought that players didn't really give two flyers about us lot who fork out to go and cheer the Toon along, but Hatem certainly seems to be different.

Rumour is Harper is out. Krul in. Our chance of anything is looking in the balance now. 2 mins in, miss kick, 1-0 Man Utd. Oh dear oh dear -
has to be Krul am afraid. High expectations and these were shattered when Harper was injured. Very suprised if he has a long term future at NUFC. Can't kick, panics, flaps. Taxi for Krul!!

I did think twice about saying this, but I think Best has to come into the frame. Not necessarily been the choice, but needs to be at least considered. When Carroll left, he was the only striker to really stand up and take charge. You take away his goals, would we be almost safe or in a dog-fight? I would vote Barton but Best does deserve a mention.

Newcastle United 4-1 Wolverhampton Wanderers

Ben Arfa is no threat to his place. He is a threat for LW position. For Pardew to play Barfa in a No. 10 role, then he needs to buy a Defoe-esque striker, one who'll exploit the gaps. Otherwise, if we go for the usual big strong front man, then Barfa will be better suited to playing on the left, providing decent balls. Gutierrez isn't safe from the bench and he knows that! -
All I heard from Dalglish at half time was "stick it in the back.." so what else was I supposed to do?

Pardew Facing Dilemma Over Goalkeeping Situation

I thought I was loony, but think you should take my name. Muppet! -
So whats the crack with Europe? Which places get it, and what is this about 7th getting a place?
-
Did the arsenal fans sing Diaby songs at SJP? Or did city fans chant De Jong after bad Ben Arfa challenge?
-
I was disgusted that he was given a standing ovation and a sing off as he walked the walk. No player should be backed after a red unless it was a clear mistake. Absolute disgrace by our lot imo. The only time I've been ashamed at a home game. Just want to see what everyone thinks P.s. He just blew his chance to shine. I want to see him gone
-
Just got back from the game and am genuinely angry. We were all over them in the first half, really should have been 2 or 3 up at the break. I CANNOT STAND Ryan Taylor. He doesn't try, his attempts at defence are shocking, no effort and a shocking challenge. Haven't seen the replay but looked bad. And what angers me even more as am sat there cursing at raylor is the standing ovation and the song, "one Ryan Taylor". Never been disgusted at our own fans before until today. This was taylor's chance to prove his worth, for me he shud have cemented his departure. Shite player with no passion. He cost us the game and going above mackems. Thank you Ryan.

I reckon Gosling won't be available before the end of the season

First time I can remember a NUFC player clarifying through the club.

Loony indeed! He means we'll go above Bolton. Daft thing is we'd have been a shoo-in for a European place with one or two better striking options and Ben Arfa not getting injured. I still reckon 9th or 10th is more realistic. Not sure qualifying for Europe would be a good thing with next season in mind. It wouldn't be great with the extra fixtures, but would make it easier trying to keep hold of Enrique, Tiote, Barton etc. We lose those three and we will soon struggle.
