I didn't used to mind Man City too much but now I hate them with a passion. I cant wait for the day that financial restrictions are in place, then they can go fuck themselves in the underworld. They hijack so many deals from other clubs these days, do they really need another wide player? Johnson/Milner/Silva/Wright-Philips and have played others out there more recently. Its almost as if they wait to see who the likes of Utd, Arsenal, Chelsea etc go for and then fly in and steal. Thing is, yes they can offer more money, yes they can offer european football, but can they offer the passion for the club and supporters? No. I see it like this, if he goes to us or to Arsenal, its about the football and the club. Has said before he dreams of playing for Arsenal, so that would be based on that. He would come to us based on the fact that he would be playing every week and would be a crucial cogg in getting this club back to Europe. But if he went to City, it would only be for the money. I would like to know their wage bill per week, because if the restrictions come in, then the likes of City are Fooked.

After reading the french article this morning that the Gervinho deal is nearly wrapped up, it has me thinking about who we have next season. Tiote, Ben Arfa, Cabaye, Gervinho. Could this be the start of a new time for NUFC? And also do you think that all this early movement will pursuade Enrique to sign?

This is my favourite kind of player! He looks exciting to watch, in the centre with Tiote would be ace to see. Sign a RW and strikers and we could be an entertaining side next season if injuries stay away. Definitely going on the back on my next shirt purchase.

This is NOT the mystery signing guys. The mystery signing first of all is a CM and second of all a fee has been agreed with his club. And third, it was mentioned somewhere that this player plays in continental Europe. This is a good free signing, building up our squad. Lets be fair, Ameobi, Lovens, Ranger are not up to the task anymore so imo you have Best and Bothroyd as the squad strikers with a couple more quality ones brought in who walk straight into the starting line-up.

It doesn't say that he'll be a CM. Its says 'International Midfielder'. So i'm assuming that it will be a wide man, possibly for on the right. Would be amazing if it was someone with real flair, excitement and pace.

Theres been a lot of chat about the young players over the last couple of games, Barton, Enrique, Colo etc But I think Saylor has been an unsung hero. He's had two starts and two goals, both of which have been extremely crucial. He really does seem to be feeling the pressure from Williamson and is fighting for his start. Imo I think he deserves a run. He definately seems to be getting better and better. Williamson hasn't scored yet. I like Taylor, been a good player for us, and loyal. Lets just hope he can get back on track towards an England call-up, and more goals for us like he did for U21s.

If we can find a couple of Tiotes in different positions, then I wouldn't complain if we didn't spend the £35 mil.

Never realised Tupac was in Toon. Surely the coaching staff must see something special in him, otherwise he would of been booted out of the door by now. Does he want to be a pro footballer? Because he doesn't act like it.

Big game for us I think. Not for the result or performances, but will be able to tell after the game which players are considering leaving. E.g. If Enrique strips naked and gives all his kit to the crowd and does a lap of honour waving to the fans, then he is leaving. The likes of Jonas, Enrique and Barton wouldn't leave without saying goodbye to the 50,000 there. I would also like to see the following starting lineup: Krul Simpson Talyor Colocini Enrique LuaLua Barton Gutierrez Ferguson Ameobi (Jnr) Ameobi (Snr) Reckon a solid 3-0 will be on the cards.

Read the interview on the nufc blog site and read a comment made about if Jose is offered 50+ grand a week, he's gone because Ashley won't pay it (with reference to Carroll). This may be controversial, but do you think it may be the case that Ashley felt Carroll was only one scrap away from a jail sentence and that he wasn't worth upping the wages for, and £35 mil is a lot for a twat. I would of thought that Ashley would be a massive Jose fan and might be willing to pay him more.
