  1. http://www.theladbible.com/media/zokora-kicking-racism-out-football Check this out.
  2. saying on .com that if we get through to the next round, the Stoke game will be rearranged. Any guesses to when that would be? Sunday or Monday?
  3. Bale has scored two wonder goals in his last two games - nae chance he's gonna score in 3 consecutive games. Taylor and Colo are all over that. He's looked pretty average imo this season compared to season's past.
  4. I'm in two minds about him coming back. 1st - I can't wait like you said to see him link up. Our attacking force should be epic! But on the other hand, he either replaces Jonas or Gouffran who in the last two games, have been epic defensively too! So we'd be putting a luxury player in who is restricted defensively for a workhorse. I say take the risk and put him in - but it could go both ways.
  5. Has Perch done anything wrong to justify being dropped? Tbh - Tiote hasn't had the best season so far, and I cringe everytime he loses the ball in our half. Perch may not be as good - but he doesn't get caught out. And he definitely seems to have up'ed his game since new arrivals have come.
  6. I reckon 2-1 to Newcastle. Gouffran to get his first, and Ben Arfa to come off the bench and score the winner
  7. Mike Ashley has the biggest decision of his reign at Newcastle this coming summer. Looking at the players we have, we can really challenge for top 4 next season with further investment. But we need that investment to keep the likes of Ben Arfa, Cabaye and eventually Sissoko. The making of something trully magical - I hope he realises this.
  8. I reckon Cabaye is playing like a trooper recently because he's playing with his best pal! We look so good - I love watching Cabaye, Sissoko and Gouffran on the ball. Gouffran is like a silent assassin waiting to pounce. He just does his job (well) and I can't recall many times he's lost the ball.
  9. Spoke to Frank Gilfeather (Sport Journalist) before Christmas about it - and he had no idea who it was. So either literally no-one in the industry knows who it is (and the Independent doing an incredible job of keeping it under raps) or all journalists have taken a blood oath not to divulge his name.
  10. I don't think it was a penalty last night. Wasn't it just shoulder to shoulder except he made a meal out of it?
  11. Question is - how long will Mbiwa sit on the bench? I would like to see all 3 CBs play together but not sure if it will happen
  12. We could really use this lad so we don't need to turn to our new homeless looking version of Strola
  13. And didn't Fernandes say he would walk away if that was best for the club? fml
  14. I read it too and I think it's Danny Murphy. I tried tracking the facts and he was fits the bill
  15. Makes me laugh that when QPR go down, the only salary they will be able to afford to pay will be the likes of Ferdinand and.................yeah that's it.
  16. Puts them in and we lose, everyone will whine they weren't ready. Don't put them in from the start and lose, everyone will slate him. Poor bloke can't win really (only if we actually win tonight). I'd be happy to see Sissoko and Gouffran come in from the start, although I read somewhere just now that Mbiwa was going to start too, straight swap for Williamson. I reckon a new lease of life in our squad will spur us on to a 3-1 victory with Gouffran scoring first and Sissoko getting on the scoresheet too.
  17. If Sissoko signs in time, I'd be tempted to go with this: Krul Debuchy Mbiwa Colo Santon Obertan Cabaye Sissoko Marveaux Gouffran Cisse That would mean 8 french speaking players linking up - good for the new boys in terms of integration
  18. A good read. In my opinion - too right by the board. They didn't back him in the summer and they've realised that now (hopefully not too late). I don't think Pardew deserves the sack - if he had a fully fit squad and had backing in the summer and we were down the bottom of the table, fair enough. I wasn't at the Reading game, but the boos about the substitutions is what got us into trouble in the past. What will sacking him do but unsettle a squad who have bought into him? At the end of the day, none of the fans are or will ever be PL managers so therefore leave the decisions to them. Pardew has my backing 100% and still believe he is the right man for the job. Do people really think that Ashley just twigged on Jan 1st that we need signings? No. Pardew has gone in there and told them we'll go down without and made them see sense. He has squeezed them for cash, and has got it (actually a fair bit if they all come off including R.V.W. - when was the last time we spent this kind of money?). As for Colo, I'm starting to get frustrated with the lack of professionalism from him. Your 31 years old, be a man and do your job until at least the summer. If it was that serious, the club would have let him leave on compassionate grounds. In this industry, you can't just decide that you want to leave and the club has to cancel your contract. It doesn't happen! Bottom line is, the club is a business and he is an financial asset. He needs to pull his socks up and deal with it.
  19. Very good news if true. It's a real shame its taken the threat of relegation for Ashley/Llambias to spend money. These signings in the summer could well have pushed us on this season and also shown our current star players the club has ambition
  20. Taylor is fit again apparently. I doubt Colo will touch the starting XI again
  21. Exciting new look: Krul Debuchy Mbiwa Taylor Santon Cabaye Tiote Sissoko Ben Arfa Gouffran Cisse
  22. I can see our new look team now : Krul Debuchy Mbiwa Taylor Santon Cabaye Tiote Sissoko Ben Arfa Gouffran Cisse It does get me a little excited!
  23. I expect that he will be played on the left side of the top 3 with Cisse and Ben Arfa (once fit).
  24. I would understand if she were ill, but I don't believe Pardew and the club would turn down compassionate leave if she was. With reports suggesting he's returned home without permission, I'd let him stay there, fine him each week he is absent and not release him. If he wants to play silly buggers, then hit him financially. These guys are supposed to be professionals and I'm really disappointed with him. Remember when Lovenkrands lost his father? He went home and came back especially for the very next game against West Brom and actually scored too. Can't really compare the two levels of professionalism.
