We’ve possibly tried to play in bursts but we can’t do it. Howe’s teams are at their best when going full intensity. we’ve got 2 superb technical players (Bruno Tonali 😂) in the CM. I don’t understand why we can’t control games. I suspect it’s the style of play we have.

I said at the time but the feel good factor of Howes first full season will never get recaptured for a long time. It was similar (but not quite as good) as Keegans takeover.

I don’t think he’ll get a new contract. He used the option to extend it last season after he had the injury - which was a massive bit of luck for him.

I think he might go a bit stronger than that. I also reckon Bruno and Tonali have been carrying injuries so they might do a half each.
