You must be Wacky junior, first time I saw Howey when on a visit home I said he would play for England one day. He showed class and impressed me that much. The fact he was born in Blunderland doesn't necessarily make him a Mackem, there are people born in Newcastle who are "Mackems" But you are right about his consistancy though, he never really reached the full potential he had shown as a young lad. Have to agree with that. He was a crap CF...but an awesome CB. Injures ruined his career ala Robbie Elliott. Im a BIG Taylo fan but Howey was great.
