Newcastle defender Bassong stuns Toon: If we go down, I'm off
Holden McGroin replied to Craig's topic in Newcastle Forum
He more or less says it though, without actually saying it. -
Ashley to put whole first team squad up for sale (again)
Holden McGroin replied to smoggeordie's topic in Newcastle Forum
Is the story even accurate anyway? We'll get rid of all the Premiership earners and I reckon someone will snap up Bassong. I can see Carroll and Edgar getting regular games and Taylor might even stay for a year. Harper will stay along with Nicky FUCKING Butt. Edit: Oh, and im sure Shola will be here for the rest of his career as well ! -
I cant see us coming straight back up. Its very difficult to get out of that league and we 'll probably get rid of ~10 playing staff at least. That sort of turnover cant help with fluidity although it is essential.

2-1 to Pompey. Class! Own goal.

bizarre reffing decision. He definitely blew up for something before Utaka hit that.

David McCreery is another.

I watched Californication seasons 1 & 2 recently. Excellent.

RocknRolla Standard Guy Ritchie gangster movie. Worth a watch. 7/10 -
Where is this 3 at the back bollocks coming from? Even if he doesn't make it we can still field Raylor-Saylor-Edgar-Duff I wouldnt even consider Colo with Carew and Heskey potentially playing.

Getting rid of a property management company
Holden McGroin replied to Holden McGroin's topic in General Chat
Tactical nukes are reasonably effective against them, unless they've developed immunity. Futile against cockroaches like these. -
I live in a building with 3 flats - leasehold. The management company are a right bunch of twats. I haven't received the accounts (last 2 years) for the building despite repeatedly asking for the past 4-5 months. They just constantly lie. I have heard rumours of fraud surrounding them as well. Anyway, does anybody know what avenue to take in order to dispose of them ?

such a shame Viduka is so slow, fat and past it
Holden McGroin replied to Dr Gloom's topic in Newcastle Forum
Owen will be gone at the end of the season. As will Viduka I suspect. I'd personally keep him on a pay as you play contract for another year if he WANTS to play. As Craig Burley said last night :"His ability has never been in doubt" -
I suspect a 1-1 draw but this could go either way. Biggest game in years.
-
It was a pointless tackle. He just needed to stand him up. His reputation didnt help but he should know that it does. Completely stupid and he'll never seemingly learn. I wonder who will buy him on hisextortionate wage when we get relegated . . . ?

Saviour to villain in 1 day ! Awesome.

Body of Lies. Average. Crowe was good as usual. -
I agree although its possible we still might get a draw from Fulham or even Villa.
-
I thnk Hull will get the 3 points which might be enough to send us down.
-
I think what we need out of this game is fitness for Martins and Viduka and to keep the score down for goal difference. I'd park the bus. Is Torres out?
-
He seemed to panic. Unusual for him.

At the end of the day Premiership football isn't everything. Obviously its where we want to be but there is life outside of that. Our promotion seasons was one of the best I ever had. I nearly cried at the Leicester (7-1) game when the entire (even the East Stand) were singing "Andy, Andy Cole" in harmony. Im just hoping (if we do go down) that we get rid of all the dead wood sharpish and get players that want to wear the strip in.

on a lighter note. your favourite ever toon player?
Holden McGroin replied to tinofbeans's topic in Newcastle Forum
Asprilla for me. More of cult thing than being the best player. I just used to love watching him when on form. Unplayable. -

can't win em all i guess! hately was just a target man, and from what i gather not a good one! I only remember seeing Hateley at the tail end of his career but he looked a force in the air. Didnt he play for AC Milan as well ?
