  1. Stevie is just being optimistic. Personally I think this is our poorest world cup squad that I can remember. Hopefully the out of form players can show their class and the lesser players play out of their skin. We might go far then. The defence and goalkeeper situation really worries me. I dont rate Green one bit. He is so average. I'd gamble on Harts lack of experience or hope James has a steady tournament. Although, if Rooney gets injured or suspended after the group stages we have no chance.
  2. Emile Heskey, striker, 58 caps 7 goals Rene Higuita, keeper, 68 caps 8 goals José Luis Chilavert, keeper, 74 caps 8 goals
  3. Apparently that place has been spoiled by tourism now.
  4. Although I dislike Ashely Cole i dont think he is a cheater
  5. After his gutless performance away to Russia he should have never held the armband again. I dont know if thats a joke or not !
  6. She was born with 6 fingers on both hands. Freak. I wouldnt touch her.
  7. Aye, I like Gerrard as skipper. Brings out the best in him.
  8. This might mean Upson could get some time on the pitch as King wont be able to start all the games. Bad news.
  9. Cack. i ended up giving adulthood a go instead of drag me to hell the other night because of the bad reviews on here. only managed 45 mins of it before i had to turn over. awful ...ya get me blud Ignore Gemmill man. Drag me to Hell is a fine horror movie. +1. He was probably just cowering behind a pillow the whole way.
  10. In the Valley of Elah - I'm not going to join the parky/gemmil wankfest but it was *quite* good. I'd describe it as : Well shot. Gritty. Slow burner. I'd probably have 2nd thoughts about shafting Theron in this as well. Dowdy
  11. 100% 110% even. Class pub. Lush setting they sell Sagres too. On paper The Boathouse at Newburn would deserve a mention but it's full of scum. In London the pubs right down the side of Hammersmith Bridge, there's three of them together, absolutely godly, for some reason the birds down there always seem the fittest in London too, posh many of them but who gives a fuck, I've never once seen a fat munter down there at Hammersmith Bridge and I've been loads of times. It is quite an affluent area though and you have Barnes and Putney near by. Fabulous place though on the river, proper sun trap too, I've been on sessions outside there, and ended up looking like Garth Crooks. Do you remember the names of the pubs Stevie ?
  12. Ive heard its Man U.
  13. Well "WE" wouldn't but Ashley might.
  14. I quite liked it. Sam Raimi doing what he does best.
  15. The defence worries me. - King will get injured straight away and wont be able to play 3 games in 11(ish) days anyway if called upon. - Upson turns like an oil tanker. Very overrated. - Johnson is great going forward but generally a gash defender - Ferdinand is out of form - JT is out of form - Warnock is untested - Carragher has a had a poor-ish season.
  16. Walcott was a shock although i wouldnt take him. I'd rather take Johnson over SWP though as Lennon is too like for like for me.
  17. Milner still had a lot to learn as well when he left.
  18. no way would I leave Defoe out. Me neither. It has to be defoe over Bent/Heskey for me.
