I never put too much stock in what the managers come out and say. Stuff like that is better than saying "Joey's coming back but usually he's a bit shit and will probably get injured again before long" He forgot to mention that he played about 10 games at the back end of last season like. With Barry out of form/injured/average no-one could keep our game ticking over. Every ball we played was at 100 miles per hour and direct. I've been waiting for someone to say this! Who would you play instead of the "golden generation" and who are these players anyway? I'd probably say Cole, Terry, Rio, Lampard, Gerrard. Possibly Rooney?
