  1. if its world class to go to a tournament and not score in 3 games against some dross (and then the Jormans) then I guess he is world class If you're basing this on goals rather than the ability then Messi has had something like 23 shots in this world cup so far and scored ZERO. He must be crap as well.
  2. Probably blames him for messing us his predictions about us winning the WC Or he was giving it all the "Rooney is the best player in the world" talk in front of all his German family/friends. Sadly feels let down.
  3. He is 24 now not 22 so that was from 2 years ago. Parky is on a mission to besmirch probably our only top-notch World class footballer for some reason.
  4. Although Lucio is a class player his continued play-acting and diving is really pissing me off. Especially for centre back.
  5. Its easy to say that after he has had a few bad games.
  6. No. Didn't he take down AC Milan? And thats just off the top of my head. Rooney is an excellent footballer. Make no mistake about that. He has never been 'right' since that Bayern game when he got injured then was rushed back by Fergie.
  7. Parky has hit rock bottom! It must be hell living in Germany at the mo !
  8. Me too. I like Chile but they'll get knocked out tonight.
  9. Nicky Butt 2002 and was the best player in the WORLD. FACT
  10. With Barry out of form/injured/average no-one could keep our game ticking over. Every ball we played was at 100 miles per hour and direct. You may slag me off for this but someone like David Batty would have been perfect. Nothing outrageous. He just patrolled the midfield won the ball back and kept everything simple.
  11. You played in it didn't you? He played the ball through to Geoff Hurst.
  12. It's always sold itself as the most eclectic one musically (as well as on atmosphere) so you know what you're getting but a lot of the stuff I saw (and noticed on the bill) would always have me asking why would a festival crowd want to see that? I know Stevie Wonder is an important musical icon but surely not to a lot of people's taste (I know as I've said before I'm quite narrow in my tastes). Just looks like it's full of cunts to me. It is a festival tbf. If it's not the students, it's the mid-life crisis-ers. I've got a lot of mates there. Age range is about 25-32. All have jobs. I, crazily enough, wasn't being 100% serious. You crazy cat.
  13. Wilshere, Gibbs, Rodwell have potential but they need regular club games first.

  15. Absolutely. I just find its a massive knee jerk reaction when people say that. I doubt we'd get qualify with Huddlestone and Rodwell in centre midfield.
  16. I've been waiting for someone to say this! Who would you play instead of the "golden generation" and who are these players anyway? I'd probably say Cole, Terry, Rio, Lampard, Gerrard. Possibly Rooney?
  17. It's also the fact that the back had no protection. Yeah. Completely stretched. The amount of time some of the German midfielders got between our defence and midfield was scary.
  18. same could be said for the players though. There arent many alternatives when people start the "clear out" talk.
  19. I think Lampard played quite well yesterday actually.
  20. 5 of them were probably Gerrards speculative 35 yard drives.
  21. What do you reckon Capello did wrong though? He had very limited options in too many areas. Getting rid of the manager is just papering over the cracks imo. I think he might walk anyway like. The only thing he could have done differently was to perhaps play 4-5-1 or just set us up to be harder to beat. We didnt press them as a team and left massive gaps everywhere. The personnel was very limited. Apart from Adam Johnson I cant really think of any players he left at home that were good enough. Apart from Andy Carroll.
