  1. I guessed they were out trick or treating if there was no answer.
  2. Down here we put pumpkins out at the front. If there are no pumpkins then you don’t knock. I’m not sure if that’s a Uk thing now but I knocked on any old door when I was a kid
  3. I've just taken a peek at the Arsenal forum and as you can guess they expect to win this comfortably because we "aren't very good" and "Pope is a shocking GK" etc etc
  4. Much improved first half and although the second was dreadful I could at least see the plan. I can see Howe going with Joe and Joe on the left again v Arsenal. Barnes must be hacked off with his game time this season. I think Howe doesn’t like his pressing (or lack of) so he’ll be a sub most of the time. At least it gives us a bit of hope going into Saturday. Hopefully the crowd are rocking for the Spanish Tit turning up.
  5. Their whole back line looks like they don’t want to play it out from the back but Maresca isn’t going to change it.
  6. So far…Longy has been very good. Tonali looks better orchestrating play. Hall impressing again. Big/little joe press working well BUT despite them looking like a pub team at the back they look very capable of getting back into this.
  7. Severance series 2 is out in January as well.
  8. One top class RW would make a massive difference. And if Botman comes back anything like his former self then we’d be much stronger. It would be canny fucking handy to have Callum Wilson playing as well. Hopefully he’ll be interested in performing for a new contract somewhere or other.
  9. It might have already fizzled out by then, especially if we get a big team away in the FA cup in early January.
  10. Aye. I remember us playing Wolves away and he looked like a Rolls Royce in the DM position. He dominated the game and seemed to have an extra yard in his head. I even recall Lineker waxing lyrical about him around that time.
  11. He looked superb when he broke on the scene to be honest. I had massively high hopes for him. He seems a different a player to then.
  12. Maguire gets a lot of stick but he has never really let England down (not that I care much) and gets massively over analysed. He is a decent player. whilst I agree that clubs like Spurs seem to be an automatic fast track to the England team, Longy and Burn just aren’t international class and never will be, no matter what comparisons are made.
  13. The Conor Gallagher that’s just signed for Atheltico Madrid? I can’t imagine Diego Simeone having Longstaff on his radar.
  14. They simply have never been good enough to have ever played for England.
  15. BDB has been player of the season so far for me so it would be harsh to drop him but I’d imagine Lloyd Kelly is more suited to a high line. i agree about the central midfield. We should be absolutely dominating in there but we’ve been awful in that area.
  16. I dunno about that. When Burn and Longstaff had a rare upturn in form he was banging the drum for them to play for England.
  17. The Tonali deal has been a disaster. He seems likeable and willing to put the effort in but it’s just not working for him yet. I reckon he’ll back in Italy in the Summer. The fullbacks are young and I think they’ll develop well but are prone to a mistake defensively. Botman would make a massive difference but I’m not sure he’ll come back as good as he was. The Osulu business seems awful. He isn’t anywhere near a first team player and is already 21. He probably needs to go on loan to a foreign team in hope he develops quickly but we’ve poured £15m down the drain for someone that isn’t trusted to play. Howe just doesn’t seem to like/trust Barnes. I’m not sure he has ever completed a full 90 minutes. With tweaks we can come good but it’s looking like we are a mid table team this year.
  18. Fallout has been the best series I’ve seen this year. I never played the game as well so I’m not a gamer nerd.
  19. It won’t be pretty getting beat off Chelsea A then Chelsea B.
