Just got back. I refused to take part in the mexican wave. There was a weird a group of people there. Some nutters, some families, a lot of (quite fit) birds and Bulgarians (a lot of them with their tops off) dotted everywhere in the stadium. Defoe was sharp as razor. Good movement and lethal finishing. Rooney looked like he has reverted to the 'in the hole' player which means 15 goals a season rather than 35. Cashley and Gerrard looked good. Glen Johnson was wank. Adam Johnson should play every game.

I think Hughton has done very well under the circumstances (bar Perch) . If we'd have signed Barfa for £10m and Goslting for £7m then we'd be more positive.
