  1. "Drove up on Tuesday" "Derek isnt a friend of mine but i've met him 8-9 times and been to many charity functions with him" "I've got a good record in the premier league" - AHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHA
  2. They're definitely building up to it now. "Let your Love Flow" now ...by the Bellamy Brothers, heh. 'Celebrate Good Times'? They're really taking the piss now.
  3. Shaka talking a lot of sense there. And Janusz Michallik. He seems as bewildered as us fans.
  4. He is clearly in bed with Ashley and Lambarse. The only thing on my conscience is that by not supporting Pardew it might have detrimental affect on the team.
  5. Im going to be 100% behind the players and no-one else.
  6. Tiote and Enrique are nailed on. Carroll might stay until we get relegated.
  7. I haven't heard the Barton/Guthrie stuff but I assume the Hugton falling out with Nolan stuff was made up by the club to weaken his position as it seemed to start when speculation about his job did. I've heard from 2/3 different people Nolan wanted a return to the 4411. Can't vouch for it 100% but can see some truth in it. Still no reason to sack your manager. If Stevie/jacqui Oately etc (add to that Ashleys reluctance to give Chris a new contact) indicates this has been in the pipeline for months.
  8. Simon Bird: Thats because he fucking knew if we went all out attack with this squad we'd get shit on. Unbelievable. I need to calm down.
  9. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...ted/9267960.stm I was so close to throwing my coffee at the screen when I read this. I'm not even kidding. Pissed off.
  10. I doubt it. She does have a few interesting tidbits on twitter though.
  11. I remember in the Bristol City 3-0 game (Keegans first?) when we had a corner and Neilson was stood just behind the 1/2 way line marking their centre forward. Bristol C got a hold of the ball and blasted it up to their striker. Neilson just pushed up 2 yards to the 1/2 way line. The poor CF just controlled the ball and stood there knowing he had been done ! Class reading of the game.
  12. I remember that - think it was earlier in the 90s though - at least the one I remember was. Started with "Pavel is a Geordie", then "Oh Barry, Barry.... Barry, Barry, Barry, Barry Venison". At which point John Beresford cupped his hand to his ear waiting for his turn. Good times Think Neilson and Appleby played CB due to injuries in that game and had a good game as well. Neilson was a few inches away from being a class CB. He read the game so well but lacked the physical side.
  13. Granted. I'd like to see some sort of backlash and some "do it for Chris" mentality but I fear they themselves have sunken into apathy.
  14. Interesting point. However, its more of a protest than anything.
  15. It'd be nice if we showed our players some support. I remember this memory from years ago. I might have a few details wrong but im sure Stevie can correct me: I think it was a game v Leeds or maybe Coventry in the mid/early nineties when play had stopped and we went around each and EVERY of our players and sang their name until they gave us wave. I think the likes of Matty Appleby and Alan Neilson were on pitch. Class moment. This is the best bunch of players I have actually liked in years and are in the same boat as us over this decision, so some support in-between the bile would go a long way.
  16. Canny midfielder Dives too much for me.
  17. "rich history, great fans, pull together yadda yadda yadda" FUCKING CUNT.
  18. We should all have a royal rumble. Im just off to check the "How much do you weigh and what is your height" thread to eye up my competition. I think Andre "Peaspud" the Giant might tricky to lob over the top rope like.
  19. Class. I hope he gets the hint so far.
