He doesn’t have the quality to play this system consistently yet. To be fair to him he hasn’t had a full revamp of the squad but he has brought in Werner and Johnson (arguably Solanke as well) that will never win you a league. The counter argument he does not have any plan B or a different way of playing in my which all top teams and coaches do. if Van De Ven is out they are absolutely easily picked off.

It’s all light hearted from what I can see. im similar in terms worrying about outcomes but we actually don’t really know what Trump/RJK are going to do exactly. You’re jumping to worst possible conclusion about what could potentially happen. It might not happen so you’re worrying about something that might not even come true.

Worrying about the future is standard anxiety. I’m going to be controversial here but I agree with Gemmill. Worrying about things out of our control is not healthy for the mind. I’m similar (although not at rentons doomsday levels) where I like to have a plan and a backup plan for upcoming situations. But that’s in my control. If I lose my job, how much have we got in the bank to keep going ? What if the kids get bullied? What happens if the mrs catches me tugging one out to dwarf porn? Etc.

I feel like he has being doing less of that recently in order to be taken seriously. Not that I’ve watched him much, but he is definitely heading that way on the Rest is Football poddy.

On a slightly different topic, there seems to be a mass entitlement running across this country (and I suspect others) where it's okay to abuse NHS staff/bus drivers/air stewards etc etc. Im not going to say Society is crumbling but the lack of respect is also rising rapidly. There is an extra angst amongst people. I wouldn't wish war on anyone (and hope it doesn't happen) but it would certainly make the populace grateful for what we've got now. I just don't know how people can get common courtesy back. It may never come back.

Bad news.. When civilians financially struggle then it opens the door to the fringe parties. The far right seem to be slowly gaining ground all over the world at the moment .

Botman will be back in January so Burn will have a nice 4 months warming the bench.We are down to 1 game a week now and I assume Kelly will get the nod the league cup game(s). Personally, I like Kelly at LCB and agree he would be better suited to squeeze games when we have to break a team down. He offers pace which both Schar and Burn lack.

England squad gets announced tomorrow. Tommy T doesn’t take over until January so assume Carsley is carrying on. Do we reckon Hall will get called up? Hopefully Tino will get a cap but if Hall gets the nod then he it might be at his expense.
