  1. Steak and Kidney. Peppered steak surely is a waste in a pie?
  2. He'll be lucky to get on the pitch nevermind score.
  3. Is this genuinely Olivier Bernard? http://twitter.com/seedorf77
  4. He's skidders in disguise. Why are you logged on here? You're depriving a village of their missing idiot. Is Flair actually Deadman ?
  5. I dont think anyone has asked you to do that. Anyway, I've said my part. Who is the best left back you've ever seen btw Leazes? I think Beresford was a tad overrated and I preferred a pre-injured Elliott to him at the time. Olivier Bernard turned out to be a class act for us. Not sure why he failed elsewhere. Hopefully Enrique's career will plummet like that after he signs for Liverpool Thinking about it we've had some dross at LB over the years. Stimmo being one of the worst. Paul Bodin on loan. Sansom was finished as well when we signed him.
  6. I'll think you'll find I was pro-Halls/Shepherd but dont let that get in the way of your argument and I was largely in the "grass isnt always greener' camp (and I had the same thought when he sacked Robson) No, the problem is that you are broken record and no matter how much you capatlise or bold your letters. thats the truth. the amount of people who disagree with me is now significantly dwindling. At last. Think about it. I've personally never changed my stance nor have i entered the debate profusely. Anyway, I think it has been done to death - which is my point whether people are right or wrong. I just wish this board (and when I say that I mean these circular arguments) could move on.

  8. fuck off. I'm not ruining anything, I'm pointing out how he sees things in black and white, not me, after he said it was me that did it. I see things in either ambitious or non-ambitious. You are going over old ground AGAIN. Its fucking boring mate. You've done it to death. Everyone knows where you stand. I was quite enjoying this thread as well so hopefully its not derailed. hopefully not, but it certainly will be if people like you accuse me of talking about Shepherd when I'm talking about Ashley and don't even mention Shepherd. You've obviously been supporting the Toon for years. You could be a good poster. I'd love you to chip in threads with what you know. Grounds visited? Fights? Travel tales when going to the games? Mental opposition players? Good players we had back in the day? And loads more interesting experiences you must have had. Instead you just bang on about the same topic.

  10. I'm a bit gutted I never went to the Inter v Toon game at the San Siro. Cant remember why I couldn't make it. I did get to the Juventus game in Italy but the ground wasnt full and we got beat
  11. On a slight side topic, I was on a tour last week in the US and I was sitting up front next to the guide who was Hawaiian. Anyway, he asked: Him: "What football team do you support" Me: "Soccer?" (he must get corrected on this all the time so used the right term) Him: "Yeah" Me: "Newcastle" Him: "Me too. I watch all the games. Have you seen Goal?" Me: "Yeah" Him: "Great movie" etc etc etc The Toon are bigger than people think. I saw loads young lads in Indonesia back in 2002 running around. I doubt it will be the same these days though.
  12. Me ??? Edit - my posts in this thread have been "on topic", nee diversion at all. Bad choice of word to use with Gloom is all. Nah, I wasn't directing it at you.
  13. Back away Gloom, before he ruins the thread again.
  14. I couldnt care less about the wedding. Glad we are getting a day off though and i'd do Middleton up the wrong 'un.
  15. That's rubbish. Enrique refused to enter contract negotiations long before Ferguson stepped in. He wants more than we can offer football wise and its as simple as that. I agree with CT. (There is a first time for everything )
  16. I havent checked NO for a couple of years? Does Taylor27 still post on there? Possibly the most moronic person i've never met.
  17. I managed to stream it from my hotel room. Decent quality. Nee one must have been up at 8am.
  18. Yes, I think writing a player off after 1 league start is very harsh. Complete knee-jerk. People shot Carroll down after about 5 appearances as well. He has done well when coming on as an impact sub in several games, notably the Liverpool and Arsenal games.
  19. Harsh on here. Really harsh. I personally thought he was a real handful in the first half. He couldn't hold the ball the up the second 1/2, granted. My only problem with him at the moment his is woeful technique when finishing.
  20. Or maybe he is just a young and un-experienced ref. Who is also shit !
  21. Sorry like, but i can't imagine it being anything other than absolute shite. How many more years of this? You'd like to think he will splash some of the £50m from Enrique and Carroll.
  22. Surely he doesn't even have to pimp himself out. Does Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise have to do auditions anymore?
  23. If you enjoy reading about a subject then you will take it in easier.
