I remember us signing him at the start of the world cup then going on to have a shocking tournament. Typical. "He must be good. He is a world cup winner" - Oh how wrong we were.

In his time at Newcastle he gave absolutely no indication he would have that much of a successful career. He was so slow and weak it was scary. He also looked like an expert finisher in pre-season but as soon as the PL started he was like a little boy. It all went downhill for him when was clean through on his debut v Sheff Wed and fluffed it. It just never got any better for him here.

Willo has done a good job for us this year. He'll need to be replaced in the first XI if we want to progress though. I'd rather play Saylor over him as well.

Im just getting back into the madness really. I played a lot when I was younger (up until about 19-20) then I moved down south and left my clubs in the Toon. Only got them down about 3 years ago. My favourite course was Arcot Hall back in the day. Lovely course. Having a bit of a golfing/football tour next month. 7-a-side tourny in Newquay with a bit of Golf around the Dartmoor/Plymouth area on the way.

There is an app for the iphone that does the same job. Costs about £18. But an iPhone costs more Does it not cut out with the shit phone signal on a course too? Probably. There is normally 150 yard marker to the green anyway - which normally does the job. Is it that useful on the course?

I'm sorry mate but you know nothing. Leazes is the fifth best poster on here. In the last 4 years good posters like Leazes have gone and been replaced by inferior posters. This board has been dropping down the posting list for years now, who is to blame for this? Who is repsonsible for the loss of profile and the decline in interest? The lack of ambition of the current posters is there for all to see, in fact I pointed this out 4 years ago and the likes of you refused to admit that I was right and you were wrong. I'm not claiming to know anything, if you re-read what I wrote I said I wasn't having a go at leazes. All I am saying is I would like some variety in the posts I read, not the same argument in 5 different threads, is that too much to ask? Wooshed. Leazes just has to be the bigger man and not bite when provoked. Saying that he lays his own bait. He has mentioned burkas and so forth in other threads in hope of an argument. Its either muslims or shepherd. Nothing else. He'll come on here in a sec suggesting he does contribute to other threads but that might be about 1% of his posts compared to his normal inane circular arguments. I post a lot more than just about muslims and Shepherd, unfortunately, you notice these because they attract your attention because you think you know best. I don't lay any "bait", I state facts, if I left personalities out of it when I respond to similar, you would agree with the facts, depending how intelligent you are that is. 8 is pretty good. Not play anymore Parky? I've just found a decent iphone app (free version of an app i just mentioned in another thread). Basically downloads just about any course scorecard that you know of. After each hole you pop in: [A) The club you drove with + whether it went right/left/centre etc Your score and how many putts you had [C] Plus and penalties and sand shots. When the round is complete it emails you the scorecard. It then puts it all in pretty graphs and you can monitor you performance over the past 5,10,20 etc rounds via your iphone or the website. Cool shit. The GPS version lets you know how far away you are from the green etc. Its called Golfshot

That was more a high offside line that failed rather than being too attacking I thought. Yep. He tried to compress the game but they just knocked the ball in behind the defenders and won comfortably. The amount of attacking talent Jose has in the team you'd think they'd be able to cause Barca more problems. Who am I to talk though.
