  1. are you defending Mike Ashley? Because if you aren't , you are basically seeing what I've been saying for ages. Mental.
  2. Barton looks fully capable to me and Nolan just had his best goalscoring season ever. Both are probably in the peak of their careers. In fact, most footballers peak around 27 - which looks like the age Ashley wants to 'cash in'.
  3. Are these boring cunts still going at it?
  4. I dont know where to start with all this.... No, but we could have sold him next Summer. The fee is probably nominal so wouldn't change that much. Now it looks like we will be relying on untested foreign players to hit the ground running and suddenly gel with the other 6 players we need. Revolution not evolution. I agree about the loyalty but we dont know the terms. They might have offered him £5k per week or just think he has burned too many bridges. No, he is not allowing players to speak out against him and he doesnt want high earners in their late 20s. What happens when all these 24-25 year olds get "too old" in 3-4 years? Completely start again? Its clear that Jose will never sign a new contract and that reason is Mike Ashley. Likewise with Barton and Nolan.
  5. According to twitter, you talk out of your arsehole. Am I to put money on that too? Who is this mug cwarr07 he's blocked me the prick, for questioning who he is and his sources. I just started following him about 10 minutes ago. His first tweet: He hasnt got a fucking clue.
  6. Yes, a local journo stated we have no interest him.
  7. How can you not be negative about this? We have taken 12 goals out the team. Thats a MASSIVE amount. Add to that boards incompetence, then I see no reason at this stage to be positive.
  8. If this was a week before the season was due to start (which is our boards usual clueless style) then I'd be pissed off. But you would hope, and I say this with a massive sense of cynacism as usual, that we've got the whole summer to repalce him adequatly which I think we can do quite easily if we're clever about it. Problem is, the fuckers at the top continue to do fucking stupid things. Or fuck all. I'll go on record as saying I've never been that massive a fan of Nolan in the PL, but he was superb of the season in the Championship of pulling us back up to the PL, which is exactly why West Ham have bought him. 'Hope' being the key word in all of that.
  9. I supect JB will be next out of the door so I wouldnt bet on him. Might end up being Smith at this rate.
  10. I'm with you on this one pal. Goals get you points and we've sold our top 2 goalscorers in the last 2 windows. Some are suggesting the reason is we are going to be playing this beautiful one touch football next year. We wont.
  11. Thats our goal threat completely gone in the last 2 transfer windows with no sign of replacements yet. Some people on here don't realise how much a goalscoring midfielder worth.
  12. Abysmal decision from Nolan to drop down a level. Abysmal decision from the board. Pardew doesn't look like he got a say in it.
  13. One of journos said that Gardener isnt on our radar.
  14. Ba is off to Everton according to the Guardian.
  15. I'd take him. Seems to be lethal from 20 yards.
  16. Spot on. Anyone that doesnt rate Batty has never played at a decent level. If the opposition never has the ball they wont score. He'd never give possession away and was a hard (but fair) bastard to boot.
  17. Is that the one that got a tit reduction?
  18. I'm going to go this year. I havent got any pre-booked tickets but just going to take in the atmosphere and hopefully get to see a few bitches grunting later in the day.
  19. They could well be our rivals next season, so that would be handy.
  20. Kev used to be a right bellend when he first joined. Seems to have calmed down now though.
  21. On a massive tangent, I found Blue Moon in the Bees Mouth as well pal. Expensive stuff though.
