Iain Macintosh is worth a follow. As is Henry Winter.

Aye, he was hilarious earlier. I've stopped following him now as he bores me. Used to tweet stuff like: "2-1" On a Spanish game. Waste of bandwidth. His non-stop Shola love-in started biring me as well.

Recommend me a good restaurant in Newcastle

If thats the one next to the Billy Mill roundabout (used to the Canon pub I think) then its decent enough. You certainly wont have your best ever meal. Nothing special in my opinion. Cheap though. -
Other clubs summer transfer activity thread

No. He said that he didnt know much about him. -
I'll give you that.

I dont think that is funny or true. If I was manager I would have thrown him out of the tournament for that.

I personally think Sven was a good manager for England. As was Hoddle.

Looking at my bank statement this month. Total money placed: £480. Total money won: £510. Decent. I was £25 up in May as well.

Yeah, Kuyt was prolific in the Eredivisie as was Kezman. In the past, the lower based teams are very poor in comparison to the top teams - so records could be skewed.

Its dangerous getting strikers from Holland. For every Van Nistrelrooy you get an Afonso Alves.

What can I say. I'm a teeth man.

Paradis is very unattractive.

About £13. Thats at a Cineworld in Creepy Crawley though.

Do they have a real pair of tits between them?

He did a great job there. Spurs will fuck it up. They always do.

Film/moving picture show you most recently watched

The story is slightly different apparently. I dont think they even go to Mars. Directed by Len Wiseman. I'm not hopeful. -

It was a very 80s remake of an 80s movie. Pretty pointless but it kept me entertained for 90 mins. Easy watch. -
Americans are on another level.

Booked my tickets already for Batman at an IMAX 3D. Rather excited.

We looked really tired yesterday in the 2nd half. This doesnt bode well.

What do you mean? The manufacturing of Solar panels?

There seemed to be a lot of scenes missing which Ridley will no doubt expose in a directors cut version. The character development was very poor. I barely remembered their names, nevermind caring about them. I was bit worried about Damon Lindelof doing the screenwriting. Unfortunately, I think he dropped the ball on this one. Good work on Star Trek but this had more Lost about it.

Kelly? Has he even played more than 10 games this season? I actually think he is a decent player. Not international class yet. Basing our squad on Liverpool players (especially this season) is tragic. Im hoping Henderson and Kelly get nowhere near the team.

Just got back from watching it. Agree from most of Kermode's comments - apart from the CGI which I thought was good. No character development, no surprises, stupid moments. I wont ruin it with spoilers but very, VERY disappointed. 5.5/10.
