On the ipad it actually said something along the lines of When you move location your catalogue will change after i altered my settings and re-logged in. So definitely doesn't look like its illegal. Netflix must just use the DNS server as your location.

How do you do it on your ipad like, HM? J69, I wouldn't worry too much about it. I don't think there's anything illegal about changing your internet settings on your Xbox. As for Netflix, the worst they'll do is plug this hole so that people can't do it any more. Worst comes to worst, your wife has to join instead of you if they cancel your account. Same kind of theory. Just go into your Settings -> WIFI -> (your WiFi name) -> Under DNS change to the ones you gave me. Leave IP address/subnet mask/router as it is.
