Aye. Wallsend and Parklands were my local back in the day. Wallsend golf course used to be brutal when I was growing up. I believe they have shortened it considerably these days. Parklands used to be my favourite. Not too long so if you're accurate you'll do well. Arcot Hall was the best I ever played and the first time I broke 90 (using just irons oddily enough)

Good vs Evil --- They walk among us.

I'm sure the threat of jail are holding some evil people back. -
The ground was rock hard yesterday. Makes the long game much easier but hitting greens is tricky. I only putted 14 times on the way out but 21 on the back in. Golfshot is a quality app for the iphone if you're into looking at stats

Whats the official difference between a game and a sport?
-
Aye. Agree 100%.

He is nailing Wozniacki isnt he? The boy done good. Im playing off about 22-25 at the min. Only play in the Summers. Its a miserable sport in the winter.

A Grandmother at 46 with a 12 year old granddaughter?

Top 2 are the same as mine.

I'm more or less of the same opinion Baggio. You see guys all the time at the match that hope Shola fucks up or hopes Obertan blasts the ball wildly wide so they can say "told you so". I used to sit next to bell-end in the East Stand (before I moved down South) that hated Given and every time he didn't come for a cross used to get out his seat and berate him. Then he turned to the bloke next to him: "Told you he was shit". I believe Leazes is one of these people.

I just saw a post in General about a little lad. His dad is Aguero, his grandpa is Maradona and his godfather is Messi. Has there ever been a pro footballer who was better than his father. Jordi Cruyff - No Scott Gemmil - No Nigel Clough - No? Was Craig Burley better than his dad?

A few of the events are for the privileged (fencing, equestrian etc) so it makes sense that they have a bigger scope of disciplines to get into. The wealthier have better opportunities. Fact of life, really.

He is such an odd bloke. Well, I say bloke but mean Internet character. He might be ok in the real world. Tightly wound though.

Gatlin denied ever doping didnt he? At least Chambers was man enough to admit it. I think they should be banned for life though. People like them and Marion Jones that fuck up the sport. Any idea who came 2nd when Marion Jones dominated the Olympics 2000? Such a shame that their limelight was snatched from them and then their medals upgraded 7/8 years later.

Yeah, Lineker has far too often stumbled with his banter. Jake Humphrey, despite being a bit of a drip, has done well.

I went on Sat morning and fortunately got to see Ennis in the Javelin/Long jump, Mens 100 heats (Bolt, Gay, Blake et al), mens 400 heat (Blade runner), womens pole vault and womens steeplechase (didnt realise Liz McGolgan's daughter ran in this). Got back and watched the evening session. What a day of sporting greatness. We waited around 1-2 hours afterwards as queues were mental to get out of Stratford.

Its like 1998 again. Wingbacks went out of fashion years ago.
-
Reading between the lines there it looks like he wants to come but there is a stumbling block with money somewhere or other.

Europe (and the travelling ) will take it out of us next season - unless we just decide to field a rotated squad for the Waffa League. Unfortunately, I can see around 7-10th.
-
I think he got kicked out of Brighton for his attitude.

I'm going to see the Athletics on the 4th Aug. I get the heptathlon, mens 400m and 100m heats. £65 for the morning.

In clothes.

You miss the odd sentence here and there. Generally fine though. -
Just had a quick google on David Roche to see what he was upto. 1995: Got jailed for 4 years because of stabbing a bouncer in Circus Circus after he had been barred from Madisons 2003: Jailed again (8 years) after being involved in a 500,000 drugs racket.

Yeah, but a lot of the "pundits" on the podcasts are journalists for the The Guardian. Louise Taylor has been on before. Not that im knocking it. Its a bi-weekly tradition for me.
