Yep. I have sympathy for McClaren. I suspect he might be a better coach than a manager but if the players cant be arsed then it'll only go one way. Our only hope of survival is someone who can come in and actually motivate this rabble and get them to work for each other but i genuinely dont know if that is possible. Some of the body language and visible lack of effort is scary.

You need to be much better on the ball at full back as well. He is probably a league 1 central defender really. He'll end up playing for Chesterfield or something like that soon.

I'd take Moyes, but only a short term contract. See if he can get this rabble motivated.

I'd personally give Sissoko one final last chance but in CM and give De Jong a run . We need to take control of the midfield. We are constantly losing the battle in centre of midfield Sissoko Tiote/colback Gini De Jong Perez

Dummett has to go as well. Although not sure we have anyone capable of filling in there. Anita as well. He is a weak point.

We have been stuck in a rut for years now. Bar that little run under Pardew which kept us in the league last year we've been diabolical. We just collapse when we let a goal in. Zero team spirit. The players clearly don't care and the whole club is rotten from the top down. I genuinely don't know what the answer is. Ashley isnt leaving any time soon so we are stuck with this shower of shite. We could potentially bomb down the leagues if action isnt taken soon.

We seriously need to beef up the midfield if we want to get anything out of this: Im assuming Tiote is out. Anita needs to be removed and sold. Sissoko should be put inside and told to hold (although naturally he will get forward).

Not sure what is going on with Anita covering in at RB when Janmaat goes forward. Leaves the midfield desperately thin. I dont rate the guy but he is clearly being told to do this. This happened against Bournemouth as well.

Yes, that was the point I was making but I cant see how you can take a lot of positives out of that mauling.

The most of that comes under the umbrella of Jelliott playing superbly. We were absolutely smashed by a team of championship players and got extremely, extremely lucky. Granted we deserved the points v Sunderland and all 3 against Stoke but Christ...that was one of the most inept performances I've ever seen. Funny old game 'n all that.

What positives did you get from that? Apart from a magical performance from Jelliot?

We've got 2 central midfielders in Sissoko and GIni that can play there. Anita needs to be shelved along with Dummett.

Anita is so bad.

There are very few 17 year olds that can immediately adapt to the PL. I'd give him a year or two down the lower leagues first. He scored an absolutely class goal last week. Either footed as well.

Went to see Spectre last night. A real homage to previous Bond movies. The action scenes were immense.

He looked good in the championship to be honest. He'll do well there.

I watched Housebound on Netflix last night. Thumbs up. NZ horror/black comedy.
