I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. I love Wykiki. His bitching reminds me of my lass.
-
it has ended. I didn’t even bother reading his reply. It smelled like a TheFish’s style post.

Generic small time football blather thread FOREVER

Aye, we are. I think Bournemouth will be a big test on Sat. We never do well against them. What's happened at Man City? The blue chip players look like they lost a few % (Walker, KDB, Grealish, Gvardiol). You look vulnerable at the back for the first time in decades. -
I’m not sure Kelly is classed as a quality CB from within our fan base. Ironically, I think he’ll come good if he ever gets a run in the team.
-
Howe has found the winning formula, so unbalancing the team again (eg playing Gordon or Big Joe on the RW) would be counter productive.
-
It’s possible Kelly is seen as Burns natural successor and Lascelles probably won’t get another year on his contract. Only Big Mitch knows this though but as we were after Tosin and Guehi then I think further additions will come in a CB in the future.
-
You’re still continuing with this? RCB- Schar RCB - Lascelles RCB - Krafu LCB - Botman LCB - Burn LCB- Kelly LCB - Alex Murphy (at a push) Kelly might not even make the bench when all CBs are fit. Barnes is injured now. Gordon is being kept on the left as he is wasted on the right. Miggy has been getting more game time recently because Eddie has worked out everyone he has tried on the RW has unbalanced us. That’s me done explaining the logic. I’ll let the brains at NUFC decide our fate.

Aye. He needs to work on his delivery. He seems to get the ball stuck under his feet a lot then dribbles his way out of trouble. He is looking superb defensively though. Big improvement.
-
I noticed Max Aaron’s has done to Valencia on loan as well.
-
I’m just flabbergasted that you spent all yesterday suggesting we don’t sell our 5th (of about 7) choice CB because we might be short then sell 1 of our 2 RWs. 😁 You’re then trying to back up the argument by saying he hasn’t played well recently (which is true) but this again could be used to beat Kelly with. I guess we just see what Big Mitch does.
-
This is astonishing. I mean, we can play Joelinton CB if we need to. He might not be very good but that doesn’t matter. I understand your hatred for his right foot and we all want to see him moved on but the squad will be weaker without him.
-
I thought your argument was all about cover and not leaving us short?
-
Im sure we can just play a random player out of position there and everything will be absolutely fine...
-
A single bang average RW who is currently in a purple patch.
-
😀 Of course he offers something. He is very rusty at the moment but is good in the press and his build up play is fine. He is just a bad finisher. Livramento as RW won't work.

Eddie just needs to tell them we are playing at top 6 side and we’ll be fine.

Newcastle United vs Wolverhampton Wanderers

They are having a right go at their attack whilst ignoring they’ve let 3 goals in the each past 2 games. -
Good call on Dibling. Although I really like him I’m not sure Mbeumo has the intensity to play for Howe.
-
We could be lining up a 7th CB just incase, you know, all 6 CBs get injured.
-
Surely we can’t sell Miggy without a replacement lined up? (Being serious here)

I think he’ll get the benefit of the doubt until his CBs are back. -

Interesting tactics from Wolves. Massively high press. It caught us out a lot but ultimately it was suicide football with defending like that. -

We’ve been very shoddy playing out from the back tonight. Very sloppy. Could have been a different game if Wolves had taken their chances
