Trippier is still the superior full back. There is obviously something going on behind the scenes with him so Eddie has gone for Tino as first choice but I’m not sure it’s for footballing reasons. Tino and Murphy struggle to combine. Trippier clearly helped Murphy by dictating his position. Murphy has dropped to Bruce level performances at the moment.

Surely Trippier would be better as an inverter fullback anyway. Tino lacks his composure on the ball. He is more effective galloping up the wing. Hall is slow and weak at the moment. I’m sure he’ll develop as a full back but he is not impressing at the moment.

Trippier needs to start. I’d even be tempted to play Almiron (they link up well and keep possession). Hall is struggling this season and I can see why Howe was reluctant to play him for a lot of the last season. We perhaps should go back to a LCB (Kelly) coming in at LB so he can tuck in and then push Trips high. Sandro in for Longstaff.

Or Howe walks. which will be a massive PR disaster for Mitchell.

It’s also so handy having a player like Barnes. He is deadly.

Tino isn’t in a the same class as Trippier. Hall is nothing more than potential. Botman (fully fit) is a massive miss New signings freshen up the team and set standards. We’ve got worse not better.

Inevitable that they’ll get a second on the break soon.

Murphy used up all his good performances and goals in pre-season. Barnes must be fed up especially after scoring last game.

Let me take you back to 2009. I used to live about 7 mins walk from work so I’d go home for lunch. On one fine Summers day I’d had a dicky stomach all morning. I’d just polished off my lunch and watched some TV then on the way down the stairs of my flat I let rip an almighty “bumsen burner”. Low and behold I followed through rather impressively. I rang my boss and told him id be late because I’d shit myself. He was absolutely fine about it. I then told the office when I got back. Wear it loud and proud people.

To make matters worse the elder has been a veggie for about a year now. He really sticks to it and won’t even eat gelatine based sweets. Now the little one is adamant to join him but as his palate is so bland we are just telling him “it’s vegetarian chicken son…”

I'd knock that prick clean out.

The elder (9) went through a fussy stage but is now back on track and eats a lot of variety now. He even loves a bit of hot spice. The little fucker (5) is now going through this fussy stage. He said he hates cheese as well now apparently. He gets a fair amount of beige food. He'd literally not eat anything if he doesn't fancy it. He is genuinely so stubborn he'd die from starvation rather than eat something he doesn't fancy.

I see Bruno only played 45 mins last night. Injured or hooked for being shit?

We could have capitalised a bit more on our status as a champions league club last nseason to ramp the dodgy sponsorship up.
