He's a funny lad, he gets smacked in the face and gets straight back up nee bother at all. He touchs the ball with his hand and he's dying. Surely the ref could notice the slight incongruous pain threshold and sense something was a miss

At least this might lead to some attacking

Merchant is catching up to Pilkington in the unintentional comedy genius stakes. He's class Er, I think he's being fairly intentional. Or have I missed something

Newcastle Enter the Twenty First Century

Exactly, what's the point in having all this analysis if you don't have the coaches to improve the players. -
Also something about doing it in Ronaldinho style. Whilst smiling a lot?

What does Shola bring that Le Sib doesnt?
geordieshandy replied to MattM4's topic in Newcastle Forum
And he was the only one who could hit the target before Rossi came on. Sibierski had a couple of canny touches, little flicks round the corner, noteably for Parker's chance. But his heading ability is woeful. Shola needs his op, it's getting beyond a joke now, the guy is NOT fit by any stretch -
- When he put that corner straight out it was embarassing, but yes in open play I think he's doing a lot more - Milner put in a lot of work, especially in the second half - Martins needs the ball played in front of him more, the passes he gets at the moment are too into feet, and he gets caught up with himself, - I'd be happier if he could actually put his head on the ball, instead of his shoulder, neck, back. But I'm not sure he ever asks for the ball to be played there.

I think that's spot on Yesterday was the worst performance he's put in, he was two yards off the pace on his feet and three or four off the pace in his head. Can't work out why the Rodent didn't throw Bernard into the left back spot instead seeing as it is a much less crucial position, both would be lacking sharpness but OB would be in a position where the laziest player on earth plays. Bramble has played some canny games but there's far too many when he's fucked up. It becomes a bit of a cycle. Some people say that players can start to believe their own hype, I reckon Bramble has started to believe his deriders, and is worried about playing badly from the start of the game. Obviously thie mindset puts him in totally the wrong state of mind to be playing, and hence he makes more incredibly stupid decisions because he is panicing about fucking up again.
