  1. Mr Nail, meet Mr Head. Why would they want to meet? As I understand it, the phrase you refer to is "hits the nail on the head", the head being part of the nail...so that's just nonsense. Was thinking the same thing, it's like introducing somebody to their own arm. Maybe Mr. Hammer meet Mr. Nail. I shudder to think what an MC Hammer and Jimmy Nail collaboration would sound like. Can't touch these crocodile shoes?
  2. I'd have him back to tackle Carr on the training ground.

  9. BRMC were good, the Killers stank like. Three good tunes.
  10. What's that about? Whenever Gemmil sees someones name as the topic title he thinks said person has snuffed it.
  11. I'd assume it's the Killers. Its just the thought of BRMC supporting the killers Brmc > The Killers I have to admit, I was shocked when I found out. Didn't have a scooby who was supporting till this morning. Looks like I'll have to make a concerted effort to get in sharpish to see them. Yeh you sitting or standing? Bliddy sitting (probably in the foyer), it was hard enough to get any tickets of any sort never mind anything actually any good. At least you can go back and forth for a nice £3 pint nah sittings not that bad just means your miles away from the fun Should be a good night, interesting to see if BRMC will play acoustic or as a band, or that strange new sound they fangled from self titled and Howl. Aye sitting isn't that bad. We were sitting for The Fratellis and Kasabian and still managed a good dance anyway. And wor lass will be going crackers enough for about a hundred folk on her tod so it should good. As for the pints, we're starting a session at four to try and avoid buying too much of the piss in there. Awful beer, I know seeing as I used to serve the swill. I imagine BRMC will be knocking out the stuff from their new album so nee idea what it'll be like.

  14. I'd assume it's the Killers. You know what assume did though. But you're right.
  15. Hadn't realised BRMC were supporting tonight, should be canny.
  16. Can't really give up drink seeing as March is the biggest month of birthdays ever (damn those summer shaggers) so it'll have to be work.
  17. Crunchy nut cornflakes for me.
  18. bacon over sausage every time...never trust those little feckers Agree with Radg, at least with bacon you know it might have seen a pig. Sausage could be any old shit.
  19. Is it? I was considering this but trouble is I can have my fill of Simon Pegg's mate quite quickly. Might pop along though if it's honestly that good. Saw it the other week, the funniest film I've seen in years. Do you know who played Michael, the Lurch, trolley boy character? Sammy - I'm a big fan off both of them so that might bias my viewpoint, I think together they're very funny. There's a lot of other stuff in there as well but if you have an active dislike of Nick Frost then you might get very sick fairly quickly. If you liked Shaun of the Dead you'd be a fool to miss this though. Have to mention I'm already looking forward to "Run Fat Man, Run" - more Pegg, but with Dylan Moran in on it as well. A bit more slapstick I think though.
  20. Maldini for one of the defensive spots perhaps, admittedly spent most of his career at full back but I reckon he warrants a place somewhere in the backline.
