Agree with that, I don't think there's much call for box-to-box players. I'd rather they were designated attacking midfielder and defensive midfielder, then at least each would know their respective roles. Might be able to use the b2b man instead of one or the other when playing much better sides or poorer sides respectively, or when playing five in midfield, but I'd rather a bit of structure to be honest.

I'm canny sure that Martins and Owen won't work, in the same way that I don't think Dyer and Martins work well together, and for why Shearer and Ameobi never worked.
