We went for Sky telly and BB, but could have got the talk package as well. The BB is canny, didn't take long for them to set up, but then it was all new in, not taking over from anyone else, which is often where the problems start. The only reason we didn't take them up on the phone package is because BT offered basically the same package for no extra cost when we sorted the line rental (Option 2 I believe). I think it does come down to how much you want from them as too how much discount you can get. The less you want the more problems. Other folks have also said they've had issues getting the right service.

It's a fair point, imagine Dalglish never joined and it was Robson as Keegans successor. If we'd bought (the equivalent) of those players we'd see him as fleshing out the squad, but in no way improving it. 10 years (jesus.. is it that long?) down the road and we're mired in inadequacy and our expectations have (rightly) plummeted. The CCTV type cameras which are new and have only appeared in the last couple of months are CCTV and DO NOT measure speed. They are to monitor the flow of traffic coming out of the city centre. They could however be linked to the police national computer and dvla and have a look to see who's driving with no road tax as they will be able to record the number plates. You could see why Charlton were forcing the price up though, considering Ipswich were receiving a substantial portion of the fee, and that whilst he's not the top goal scorer in the league, he is the top English goalscorer, a goal every other game. Plus for Spurs, he's only 23 (?) so there'll be a canny resale value. I'm not saying that he's worth that sort of money but you can see why the valuation was reached.

My mate had a Subways franchise and managed to end up declaring himself bankrupt with it. Genius. How the fuck is that possible like, were you eating there for free? Seriously though.....how is that possible? Those places charge a fortune for next to shit. Not sure really. I know that Subway basically require you to pay them a certain amount every month regardless of takings - it's a percentage but there's a minimum threshold. He must have got into debt to set himself up with the franchise and then didn't make anywhere near enough to live on/pay off the debt. There's also the fact that he never actually went to the shop. He would just sit at home and fill in the returns and let his "sandwich artists" (I'm not joking, that's what they call them) do all the work. Dipping in the till artists by the sounds of it. Naah, Subway's is nearly always empty. I'd never get involved in a Franchise with it. Which one exactly? Just so I don't have to queue for my puke smelling butty in future.
