  1. All you can really say is.....'lol'
  2. ??? You think he is quality? Read my above post. I just think it's canny pathetic telling a professional footballer that one of his colleagues is shite. I didn't tell him he was shite, I told him that he wasn't 'quality'. Subtle difference, like. Implied though. Reading too much into it Wheater acually was a sound lad, had a decent chat with him.

  4. Was speaking to David Wheater last night. Dunno if they're good mates but he really thinks Taylor is quality. I told him otherwise.
  5. Wihout knowing anything about you, I can almost guarantee I am far more educated than you! Just because you dont have the ability to debate a fair and constructive point of view!! Without knowing anything about you either, I can almost guarantee that I'm not going to like you. Fuck off.
  6. I wish I had stopped reading there. ... indeed. Don't understand the logic in the reasoning at all. so are you saying Mike Ashley has no influence over manager an players? If you are a manager or player and the guy that can basically decide your future is sat with the supporters week in week out listening to their gripes, and th manager/players know this....surely to god this is de-motivating. He should be up in the directors box, seen and not heard, quietly supporting manager and players. He is trying too hard to be 'one of the boys', he is not he is a billionaire owner with a lot of responbility. Ashley is not involved in the day to day running of the club. I'm struggling to see why he's not allowed to sit in the seat of his choice. Who do you support?

  8. IMO Owen, along with Zog, is the main player we need to keep at the club. The way he stuck three of his four chances away against Boro, and the majority of others away is vital to us when we're creating so few chances. The way he fashioned that late chance at Villa as well was quality. If we get a few more decent players around him in the summer he'll start scoring for fun.
  9. KEVIN KEEGAN last night revealed he is just weeks away from opening contract talks with Michael Owen. And the Newcastle boss is confident the striker is willing to pledge his long-term future to United in a lucrative new deal. Speculation has raged over Owen’s future throughout his injury-ravaged spell on Tyneside. And talk of him and Keegan sharing a frosty relationship since the United manager’s days as national coach has strengthened suspicions that Owen – whose current contract expires next summer – is unsettled. But Keegan is ready to rubbish claims that he would be happy to let Owen leave by starting discussions over a new deal. “We have to sit down with Michael. It’s something we need to discuss and we will have talks before the end of the season,” said the Newcastle boss. “It goes without saying that I want him to stay. I don’t want to lose him.” Keegan added: “Newcastle fans have not seen enough of him to realise how good he is. He has never had a run of games. “The first stage is getting the games under his belt, but I’d like to think I can bring the best out of him. “I hope the club, the fans, the players, myself can bring the best out of him. “If we can get the best out of Michael Owen, we have got one of the best players in the world. There’s no doubt about that.”
  10. Agreed. If it wasn't for Harper it would have been 7 or 8.
  11. I don't think we will either, but with Pompey, both Dippers, Spurs and Liverpool all to come away from home, and the likes of Blackburn, Manchester United and Chelsea to come to SJP, i'm struggling to see many winnable games left. As well as Blackburn are doing, I still think this should be considered a winnable game. Mackems, Fulham and Reading are must win games at home. At least 9 points out of these games are essential with picking up the odd point in the other games as at Birmingham and Pompey. It's winnable, yes, but very very losable as well.
  12. Taylor, Cacapa, Carr, Duff, Barton, Butt and Smith were all shite. Harper did well - hope for his sake he grasps his chance now.

  15. The game that never got arranged? If one was arranged i'm sure we'd be able to get a team together. Don't know what you're on about. It was arranged amd publicised on here. There were 3 teams and we played each other twice. Not sure how you would have missed it. We'll probably do it again. It was just a laugh like. Must have missed it. We'll put a team in the next one definitely.

  17. of course they did. Not an unrealistic claim in our league like.
  18. We'd have beaten them with a bit of luck. They scored about 6 spawny goals ie deflected/through bodies of players etc. Gutted. All about consolidation now, and a promotion push next season. Up for the cup though!
  19. "This is faakin gaan' on yootoob this like"
  20. The secret dossier consisting of "Boumsong and Bramble are shite. Solano and Carr are slow. Babayaro is crap. Owen and Shearer are good." The man is a genius!
