Not forgetting we beat them at WHL last season

Fucking hell, didn't realise just how much the '06 world cup affected his left leg till I saw that pic

That's how I see it too at the moment, but it can all change so quickly. Except the Derby bit. We are the only team to lose to Derby this season. The shame of it! I know. 40% of their points have come from us this season Funny as that is, if we'd taken just 4 points from them, we'd be safe by now.

Thought Bullard was very good today. Most of his distance shots were canny, his distribution was superb and he was full of running all game. Not bad for someone who's been out for 18 months.

...THE Marcelino Chronicle: Speaking of Europe, there is a new face on the scouting scene in Spain. For Rafael Benitez has appointed his compatriot and former United central defender Marcelino as Liverpool’s Spanish scout.

Glenn Roeder is checking a Norwich player into rehab after he was arrested for drink driving in his underwear. The Canaries boss is set to act after ex-Newcastle midfielder Matty Pattison, nicknamed Party, was stopped on Sunday morning. Mirror Sport understands Pattison visited a nightclub on Saturday night after the Championship side's 2-0 defeat at Sheffield United. And on Sunday, apparently still drunk, Pattison allegedly woke up and jumped into his car believing he was late for training. There was no training scheduled for that day. But wearing just his pants, a T-shirt and no shoes, Pattison began driving to the club's Colney training ground. He was tailed by police halfway through the journey after he was apparently spotted driving erratically. Advertisement When the 21-year-old pulled up outside the Norwich training ground he was arrested after police were said to have found him unsteady on his feet and slurring his words. South-African born Pattison, who will be checking into the Sporting Chance Clinic in Hampshire, has been bailed to appear before Norwich magistrates on March 31. Norwich chief executive Neil Doncaster said: "We understand that Matthew Pattison was arrested and has been charged with a drink-drive offence. "We will be investigating what has happened and co-operating fully with Norfolk Constabulary. "When we have more facts at our disposal we will then be in a position to comment further." Pattison is Roeder's only permanent signing at Carrow Road since taking over last October. The manager has acted swiftly to provide support rather than punish Pattison who has a reputation among teammates for being a party animal. A City source said: "He is always out clubbing which is why he has got the nickname 'Party'. "It's a shame he has a bit of problem because he is a good player." Sporting Chance was set up by the charity's chief executive Peter Kay and Arsenal legend Tony Adams. It has provided help for the likes of Newcastle midfielder Joey Barton, former Gunners' star Paul Merson and ex-England ace Paul Gascoigne. Roeder is among a new wave of coaches battling to drive the booze culture out of football after seeing the benefits at leading Premier League clubs. It is believed Pattison agreed to check into the rehab clinic after holding crisis talks with Roeder earlier this week.

Me mate, who's a Wednesday fan reckons he's got a massive future ahead of him. Said he expected he'll definitely be off in the summer.

Pompey 2-1 brum after 10 mins

Just looking at Boro's run in, they've got Villa, Arsenal, Chelsea, Man United and Spurs as 5 of their next 6 games, with only Man United at the smellnet. They're equally as much in the shit as we are.

The official Liverpool Vs Newcastle United Arse-raping thread

It was grim that Reina created more clear cut chances than our whole team put together. -
TBF, I thought our fans were top notch yesterday.

4-0. Looks like we're in for a pasting on Saturday
-
2-0 to the dippers. Torres brace. Hope he gets rested on Saturday.

Give him a chance alongside Faye in the middle.

I'm good at saving penalties (albeit ones I conceded). 2 out of 2 saved this season.

How not to release a bear back into the wild.......
smoggeordie replied to Jimbo's topic in General Chat
That's what happens when you're too tight to buy an electric bear releasing device thingy, meaning you have to get out the car. -
Take it that was a hint for me to step in........ya shite Seriously, you're a good player, but like you said, if you got your fitness up you'd be twice the player. A bit of a mixture of a playing style like. Not to give you a big head but your passing is similar in style to someone like Gudjohnsen ie keeping it on the deck and can spot a good pass. Your shooting, however, ranges between Laurent Robert at his best and Laurent Robert at his worst Let's hope it's the Spurs game of 03/04 for you tonight. Personally I like to think im a half decent keeper.

Keegan January or Allardyce January? Dunno, only caught a glimpse of the quotes while I was in the queue at Tescos. Acorn road? Aye.
