There's a difference between being gormless and thinking that the other team wouldn't be a bunch of cunts. Luckily justice prevailed in the end.

After 1 for Hull

Thing is, Stevie and another of our lads could have cleared the ball. Their lad shouted 'leave it' so all of our team stopped, and there lad stuck it in an empty net.

Best game of 5 a side i've played in a long time last night. 2-0 down 10 mins into the game then 5-4 lead with a couple of mins to go. They pull it back to 5-5 and then we score the winner with 15 seconds to go. Stevie hit the post 4 times

Abhisit Vejjajiva, the new Prime Minister of Thailand, is a Geordie......wonder if he's loaded -
We'd be well in with a shout of Europe if we hadn't fucked up the Wigan, Stoke and Man City games in the dying minutes, as well as being utter utter shit against Blackburn and Hull.
-
Given, Beye, Coloccini and Guthrie all in his team of the week, with Spidey and Owen on the bench.
-
Fingers crossed eh....

tbh you can buy as many good CB's as you like, but if theyre getting no cover from a shit midfield, then you're fucked.

Joe Kinnear wants to make West Ham's Matthew Upson his first signing at Newcastle United and there is quiet confidence at St James' Park that, with West Ham facing financial difficulties, Newcastle will be able to prise the 29-year-old England centre-back away from Upton Park. Kinnear spoke last week about having the funds from owner Mike Ashley to sanction two £6m signings, but it would take more than £6m to get Upson. However, with West Ham manager Gianfranco Zola being told that he will be able to re-invest a certain amount to shape a new squad, Newcastle could possibly offer £8m to make the transfer happen. West Ham will be keen to lose Upson's salary, if not the player. Newcastle also have a long-standing interest in Blackburn's Stephen Warnock but even this theoretical recruitment process is evidence of Ashley's willingness to hear Kinnear's views and according to Kinnear, Michael Owen will not be leaving the club in January. "No chance," he said yesterday. Kinnear is less optimistic though that Owen will remain at Newcastle after his contract expires at the end of the season. "I am not that confident to be honest," he said."I will sit down with Michael on Tuesday. I'm pretty confident about everyone else but Michael is a different kettle of fish." Owen, 29 tomorrow, is one of seven players whose contracts have been allowed to run down but Kinnear said that four of the players – Owen, Nicky Butt, Shola Ameobi and Steve Harper – will receive new offers on Monday. Should be a life sentence IMO.

Pini Zahavi, the world's leading football agent, is masterminding a takeover of Newcastle United. The Israeli go-between was involved in two meetings last week with a representative of Seymour Pierce, the investment bankers representing Newcastle owner Mike Ashley. Zahavi was in London on business and arranged the fact-finding meetings at his apartment. Ashley has aimed to clinch a £250million sell-out, but interest in the Geordies has been undermined by the world financial crisis. Zahavi is representing a group who are keen to buy a Premier League club. They are serious bidders who are happy to let him establish the state of Newcastle's finances. He's reporting back to them before they make their next move.

I'd give my right bollock to have Keegan as manager now.

I'm sick of feeling like shit every Saturday. Surely it would have made sense to disrupt as few positions as possible. Guthrie injured, so put Colo in CM and Taylor at CB. Not Guthrie injured so Taylor at RB, Beye to RM, Jonas to CM.
