  1. When I went to Paris a couple of years ago the display in the window of the Adidas shop on the Champs-Elysees was about the Toon.
  2. Hope he comes here like as a coach
  3. Yet anything in the media disagrees with your view of NUFC its groundless bollox and that media outlet should be immediately boycoutted. Look dick head, why don't you actually fuck off? We've made it fucking clear for months that we all think you're a twat. You've been here a good three years less than me and you've already steamrolled past my posts, despite the fact that NUFC has absolutely fuck all to do with you. You're an internet fucking geek, simple as that, who's only mission in life is to poorly attempt to wum our board, while singing chorus' of we izz tottnam, soopa tottnam. The ignore function for this cunt isn't good enough, because you can still see he's here.
  4. According to The Times, Delap wasted 10 minutes and 14 seconds of the game against us. In total he took 25 throw ins and each one took an average time of 24.6 seconds.
  5. Would leave Hull 4 points above us with 5 games to go (presuming we get nowt at spurs). Looking at their run in, they're certainly catchable, especially if they don't beat Stoke.
  6. WHAT? Oh my god, the irony. Tom, go to the search section on here and type in Spurs / Tottenham or anything related and there are tonnes of threads going back years. Do the same on glory glory for Necastle and you wont even get a fifth of the amount on here This is your cup final, we have had ours already this year. What a joke. How'd that go, by the way?
  7. IMO hull only have 2 winnable games left. If they lose this then they're more than certainly catchable
  8. 9 points would keep us up. I honestly can't see Hull winning two games.
  9. Post weekend, it's still between us, Hull and the Mackems. Looking at the run ins, I think Hull will get the least points from the remaining games. Shame we're already 4 behind them.
  10. Driving down to Birmingham today, stopping at a mates house then on the lash/at the match tomorrow folled by Easter Sunday/Monday with my folks.
  11. CONTROVERSIAL plans to build a hotel at the top of Newcastle’s iconic Grey’s Monument were yesterday consigned to the dustbin. The NewcastleGateshead Initiative (NGI) and Newcastle City Council had spent nearly £200,000 on Hotel Monument before it was even given the go-ahead. About £174,000 was spent on Hotel Monument, with a further £20,000 going on administrative and planning costs. The city council contributed £35,000 of this, with NGI stumping up the rest. And last night, after plans for the scheme were rejected by councillors and described as “an act of vandalism”, questions were asked about the taxpayers’ bill. Plans for Hotel Monument, including a hotel bedroom with bathroom built on scaffolding 150ft up Grey’s Monument, were put before members of the city council’s development control committee after a row over the handling of the decision last year. In 2008 officers granted planning permission using delegated powers, after briefing senior councillors on the controlling Lib Dem executive and local members. The project was eventually shelved after problems finalising the details. This year councillors were invited to make the decision and voted nine to one against granting planning permission, on the grounds that the structure would not fit into its surroundings. During the planning meeting Liberal Democrat councillor Marc Donnelly said: “From what I can see it’s an act of vandalism on a world famous historical structure. Many people visit the city and occasionally see buildings shrouded in scaffolding. This is what’s being proposed here, to shroud an important symbol of Newcastle. It looks like some alien structure has landed in Newcastle. “Earl Grey has had a fantastic view for 171 years looking over historic Newcastle. Now he’s going to be shrouded by some monstrosity.” Coun Anita Lower said: “Maybe I’m just a philistine and don’t understand it. But Grey Street is a real jewel in the crown in the city. “A lot of people come here to see it and we’re going to give them a monument surrounded by scaffolding. No matter how you look at it it’s a plywood box, surrounded by scaffolding, with a hoarding and concrete barrier at the bottom. I don’t see how it does anything to enhance the city, it’s a blot on the landscape.” Newcastle’s Labour leader Nick Forbes said: “I’m astonished that such a large amount of public money could be spent on a project while there were risks around the planning process. “It’s not acceptable to throw vast sums of public money at speculative, controversial art projects. If there was £200,000 to spent why not spend it on opening up the Monument to the public? This would have a benefit for more people.”
  12. That's fake - No way would Andy Caddick take that many wickets in a season.
  13. Just out of interest Smog, why've you posted this? He asked me to post that for him.
  14. Stevie says: Nick and you can tell them, if they want to allow wums from other clubs, wums full stop, racists, people that know fuck all about football, kids, fucking mackems, people with nothing to say on that forum, while banning me without even having the decency to tell me why I'm banned, well fuck them, i've posted my last post on that board, some of them will be happy but fuck them if that's their attitute
  15. That is, categorically, the poorest spelling and grammar I have ever seen.
  16. IIRC the club usually do a few autograph sessions a year. Send them what you want signed and they will return it to you. I think they stopped doing in at the training ground because people were going every day and sticking it straight on ebay. A mate of mine (think it may have been Flintoff off here) had his mate send off a Real Madird shirt to the Bernabeu and Milan shirt to the San Siro and they both came back fully signed.
  17. Mate, I'd love to bid on it. But I don't think the student overdraft would stretch that far
  18. Ireland must rate Bassong, his shirt is £199. Bullards is £99
  19. But touché: The involvement of immune mechanisms in the aetiology of preeclampsia is often suggested. Normal pregnancy is thought to be associated with a state of tolerance to the foreign antigens of the fetus, whereas in preeclamptic women this immunological tolerance might be hampered. The present study shows that oral sex and swallowing sperm is correlated with a diminished occurrence of preeclampsia which fits in the existing idea that a paternal factor is involved in the occurrence of preeclampsia. Because pregnancy has many similarities with transplantation, we hypothesize that induction of allogeneic tolerance to the paternal HLA molecules of the fetus may be crucial. Recent data suggest that exposure, and especially oral exposure to soluble HLA (sHLA) or HLA derived peptides can lead to transplantation tolerance. Similarly, sHLA antigens, that are present in the seminal plasma, might cause tolerance in the mother to paternal antigens. In order to test whether this indeed may be the case, we investigated whether sHLA antigens are present in seminal plasma. Using a specific ELISA we detected sHLA class I molecules in seminal plasma. The level varied between individuals and was related to the level in plasma. Further studies showed that these sHLA class I molecules included classical HLA class I alleles, such as sHLA-A2, -B7, -B51, -B35 and sHLA-A9. Preliminary data show lower levels of sHLA in seminal plasma in the preeclampsia group.
  20. I wouldn't be against going all out attack against these cunts. If we sit back we'll drop deeper and deeper until we concede like Boro et al did. Our only slight strength lies in Owen and Martins. Time to use the system that was so productive for them last season. 21. Fine for Saturday according to the Journal.
