'2-0 to Forest at half time here at Molineux, Wolves fluffed their chances but Forest haven't. Jamie, what does Rubin Amorim have to do to get 'United®' firing on all cylinders again and how well has Slot done at Anfield since taking over?' ® Sky sports6 points

Yep. It’s funny how seemingly little things can create a big change in form. Tonali looks more comfortable sitting, and that releases Bruno to play further forward where his through balls can cause damage. There’s obviously an increased understanding that comes with that midfield 3 playing together too. What I also like is they’re all happy receiving the ball under pressure which allows better attacking football. Murphy playing well means Gordon can play on his favoured side. And Isak’s form has been discussed loads but it’s not really easy for a central lone striker to influence play much when the team isn’t playing consistently well. I think it’s as much to do with that with Isak as opposed to his playing much better. I do think Murphy is a bit underrated though. Even though he’s obviously in a great bit of form. I always think a lot of people underestimate how much confidence impacts team performances as well.6 points

Liverpool fan I know said the result against Man Utd wasn't so bad because "no other team capitalised, unless we're saying Man City are still in it". Boy oh boy, the speed I c&p-ed the league table. Brother, it would have made your head spin clean off.6 points

Just thought I'd put sky on for the Wolves v Forest game and obviously all weekend talking about Liverpool v Man United wasn't quite enough. Sky trying to talk about anyone else.....4 points

If we keep most of the main players fit we can get CL, especially if 5th gets you that, no idea whats the latest on that UEFA coefficient thing or whatever it's called. Squad depth is obviously the issue with us, especially at CF. Isak gets injured and we're screwed. We're not a mid table side with a fit team though, we're easily CL challengers. Isak and most of our midfield would start for most PL sides, you could argue Hall and Tino are not far off. Botman too when match fit. This is where Tonali, Hall and Gordon have really added value. It's not just Isak and Bruno carrying the team with occasional help from your Miggys and Murphys. There's proper quality across the park now. The positive thing for me now is the team seems to believe that which gives you the ability to put together these runs in between the inevitable hiccups.4 points

BTW. Has there EVER been anything more shameless than the tories attacking Starmer and Phillips over child sexual abuse and implicitly supporting Musk over this? Something about this was really bugging me more than normal. Then I remembered. Remember this? Remember when their leader and PM of the time said money spent investigating historic child sex abuse was money "spaffed against the wall"? https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-47560192 I actually hate these cunts just as much in opposition. They have no decency, no humility, no humanity whatsoever. They are, and always will be, scum.4 points

I think we need to rest a whole bunch of players, this isn’t as important as the league.4 points

I haven't read the referenced article or the thread, but what amuses me is that it has already generated a 21 page thread after less than 2 hours.3 points

Not as mental as every Sunderland fan I spoke to after the game saying he had a good match3 points

Aye, I was talking to an Arsenal fan the other day and he was saying they'd had two players sent off for time wasting Arteta clearly taking the 'if you can't beat'em, join'em' approach with this. Shame then that he doesn't know how to do it properly... why are your players already on yellow cards, doing the timewasting? That feels like a fairly stupid approach.3 points

For the wheels to come off for them, it'll need someone who keeps picking up points every time they falter. Someone like us. 😎3 points

Goals this season against Villa, Man City, Liverpool, Spurs and Bournemouth. All teams competing for Europe.... Following on from last seasons goals in big games.. Did he turn you down on a night out once? Don't understand the hostility.2 points

He is right though in suggesting that transfers are part of the entertainment of football. SSN drumming up transfer activity for deadline day over the last couple of windows which have then ended with the odd youth loan being the highlight is indicative of that. They won't like that it reduces their traffic to their web pages or viewing figures to their channels. As we saw last summer, it's absolutely not fit for purpose when you have to sell academy products just to meet a set of bullshit rules while other clubs sell their own assets to themselves. I'd like to see a balance somewhere between what we have and what we had.2 points
