I handed in a week's notice at my current, new place yesterday. Going to be a long week next week. Got offered a PT job yesterday after my interview in the morning, a bit different, hopefully a bit more laid back and on my doorstep I'm really hoping this is it and I can just get on with my life.9 points

One I fullt agree with tbh. PSR is VAR for transfers. "Well intentioned" terribly implemented and both have made the fun bits less fun.8 points

There are civilisations on distant planets which rose, flourished and then declined into extinction a billion years before dinosaurs roamed the planet who still understood this was what you were doing. Ffs catch up @Holden McGroin7 points

For someone stubborn and unable to amend his style of play, Howe sure does solve a lot of tactical problems. Not saying it was without hiccups but rarely anything is in football, no doubt the midfield structure will need to evolve again at some point but I for one am absolutely loving having a manager who's always thinking, working his socks off to get the best out of the team, besting much more fancied managers time after time.7 points

I must admit I was wearing the 95-96 away kit around Playa del InglƩs the other day. Someone let me know if I turn up in a post over there.5 points

Since Howe's arrival we're overall fourth on the results table. Only bettered by Man City, Liverpool and Arsenal. That's incredible tbh.5 points

I'd be happy for twitter to be banned completely tbh. I don't know where you draw the line on free speech, but this cunt is over it for sure4 points

You tell 'em KD! Some of these cunts don't know they're born. Lounging around while we've been at work*. *If by "at work" you mean logged on in the home office, doing fuck all.4 points

I was supposed to be back today then realised my flight over to the match was earlier than I thought so the return to work isnāt until Monday and the Christmas avatar is staying.4 points

Urghh. Back to work. Is this the return to work after Xmas break the worst day of the year? Actually I think I read its the week after, when you're balls deep in January, its cold and dark, you're skint and still have ages until the next pay day, cunts like Musk and Trump and Farage haven't died overnight, and you've probably tea total as well so can't take the edge of it. Going to spend the rest of the day just getting ready for next week proper at work which I'm dreading. At least I don't have to take down my Xmas avatar. Ho ho ho. Ahhh shit, still got the decorations to take down though.4 points

I've been made redundant six times by closure, I'm just trying to even the score which I reckon I've done. See how they like it?4 points

Good luck man I am currently waiting for an offer to land from a new gaff. I've got a fucking 3 months notice and I know these cunts here will want me to work it all.4 points

The message from the media is clearā¦āif Newcastle somehow luck on to a player of that quality then they must be surrendered to a club who we traditionally consider to be a lot more entitled to the services of such a playerā4 points

A small thing maybe but I've just deleted my twitter/x account. I never posted on it but I'd rather have nothing to do with Musk and the more people who delete their accounts and don't buy his shit cars the better.3 points

I'm wondering if he's trying to bait people on free speech or something here. Frankly though, if he is in any way officially associated with their government, we expel their fucking ambassador over this shit.3 points

I am surprised you weren't confronted, didn't say a word, went all sheepish and shuffled away with you head down tbh whilst the passing tourists (and locals) all high fived your tormentor.3 points

Whilst I'm not convinced Pope deserves to go straight back in the team as his form hasn't been good this season, Dubravka has had the bonus of hardly having a save of note to make since he came in. Arguably he's contributed to the defence not allowing opponents to have good chances and he's undoubtedly better with his feet, but it still remains to be seen whether he can actually make any decent saves anymore. Pope has always seemed to have the ability to make important saves at big moments in games.3 points

Forster is being asked to do things he isn't comfortable with. Wrong profile to play for Spurs.3 points

Dubravka's distribution and composure on the ball has certainly been a blessing. But nevermind as it will all come crashing down now that we've sung his praises. Where's @Rayvin to declare him as the worst keeper of all time so he can keep up this run...3 points

If that one is going to wait till summer then a right winger this month may only be a loan? And Liverpool may be in for him regardless of where Salah is playing next seasonā¦seems like Hope has looked at Mitchellās CV and made the most tenuous connection since CT claimed to be a close personal friend of yours when he ran into your folks3 points

Itās his latest grift. Our election periods arenāt fixed so heās trying to engineer a campaign to call an election here. I donāt even think he knows what the aim is. Despite being wealthy beyond anyoneās dreams heās bored with everything, hates just about everything and at the core of that is his own, putrefying sociopathic ego. A lot of humanity, unfortunately, deserves him though. Most, unfortunately, donāt3 points

And aye, leaving the EU to become an "indpendent" nation and get our freedom back, whilst being increasingly dependent on the US, seems like a good move. Europe really needs toget its act together to withstand the insane onslaught of this US insanity and we need to join them ASAP.2 points

If it's any consolation, I think I was a little hesitant about the signings of Gordon and Isak. (I will never admit to having said this.)2 points

Tomorrow will be a big test for Dubravka. Heāll be worked and will need to be speedy off his line. He is a million times better with his feet and allows us to play out more. Heāll be 36 in a couple of weeks so I canāt see weād get a lot for him.2 points

The media is absolutely fuming we've got him aren't they Even more so that he's not chomping at the bit for a move despite their collective wishes for it to be that way. I know in the end football is about your team and club, enjoying the little moments and success if any that comes your way. When we win a trophy that'll be the main thing but I think there's definitely another theme now with not just NUFC but any club outside the status quo (Villa say) that's trying to achieve real success in the face of PSR and other barriers to entry into the so called 'elite' club category. A big feck you to the establishment of the red cartel, main stream media etc. that want anything good that happens to smaller clubs to be promptly disbursed to their darlings. It's imperative we win a trophy soon, for Howe and for the players that took a chance and believed in a dream different from setting up at a club already established with years of success behind them and roads already paved for future success. If it happens the media will no doubt try to brush it off as the richest club in the world owned by a state finally winning a trophy but anyone with half a footballing brain will know it will have been against all odds in modern football.2 points

"Here's a chart plotting calendar days vs the days I'm at work, and as a bonus I've included metrics on when I'm actually being productive at work. As you can see the line gradually increases until it reaches it's peak around the 3rd weekend in January, then it gradually peters out until we get to 0 productivity in mid March that remains static until the end of the year"2 points
