We need a long term replacement for Schar, and Howe thinks that's Guehi. Guehi's price is coming down, with 18 months left on his contract, and the summer was probably Parrish's last big chance to take the piss on price - he did just that, but he went too far. In a PSR world, I don't think they can afford to let him just run his contract down and go for nowt, so I think we'll be back at the table in Jan.

I don't get why we would we sign Guehi when Botman and Lascelles will be coming back? Especially since Palace dicked us around to the point we wasted all our time and missed out on other targets. Plus won't Guehi's stock have fallen considerably (haven't seen any Palace games though)? In January I think we will be targetting a permanent right winger, and a striker on loan with option to buy. That's based on nothing at all, so basically pulled out of my arse like this Guehi rumour.
