  2. Disappointing draw for them today but their biggest game of the weekend is tomorrow anyway

  3. What's funny here is that they think Coventry are some type of nemesis. Coventry, however, are unaware of this.

  6. This thread has had me in stiches. Making stuff up and getting annoyed about it at it's finest. https://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/mourinho-wants-mags-job-if-howe-leaves.1643988/ "He is a busted flush. I am all for it. Followed by the Saudis getting bored moving on to Spurs and financially crippling them. League one could do with them in for a year or two." "He’s been nailed on for it since the Saudis arrived. He’s even started his exit strategy in Turkey" "Every game will be 90 mins of hissy fits followed by 6 days of infamy infamy" "Oh god can you imagine the press conference? ‘Who are sunderland?’ Or some shit cheesey line to get their thick fanbase on board." "Be great him falling out with Isak or Bruno G-String"

  12. 84 year old Nancy Pelosi has turned on 81 year old Joe Biden, blaming him for the election loss. There should be an upper age limit for politicians. Fucking dickheads.

  23. in the home end loads of times over the years, not always with the best of intentions as a young man easily led astray. probably one of the most memorable was a cup game against forest. coach load of us tanked up after a boisterous afternoon in the olde trip to jerusalem decided it would be a good idea to go in the trent end smack bang in the middle of the miners strike. burst in to a chorus of geordie's aren't scabs, fuckers are all scattered until they realised there was only about 40 us.... I've never been so pleased to see the police in all me life! got an escort round the side of the pitch to the away end and a proper ear bashing of brian clough, never clipped any of us mind, think he saved the slaps for his own supporters!

  24. I've sat in the home end at Bolton, Sunderland and Wigan iirc. The Sunderland game was where Kieran Richardson scored a screamer. Never again. I think the bloke in that interview nails the bit about the flawed ballot though. The club can get fucked if it thinks I'm paying £37 to chuck my name in a hat when they refuse to say how big the hat is or how many names are in it. (Probably because they know half of the members would then cancel)

  25. As traitors go Garland is up there right beside Trump . If the DoJ (& the FBI) wasn’t riven with placemen cunts such as him then Trump wouldn’t be near a ballot slip, he’d be behind bards. Trump has bought them all. When he assumes power this process will accelerate at an eye watering rate. Congress & senate will need to pass a lot of it, have they got the balls to stand up to him? Maybe, but the SCOTUS don’t answer to anyone…

  26. You're not wrong. And wtf is happening to football when you start playing games on a Saturday at eight o'clock at night, man? Having looked at the fixtures I also noticed there's a bit of a grudge match in the lower leagues not too far away......

  31. This reminds me of Adrian Mole aged 13 3/4, when his parent divorced and they were arguing who would NOT have custody over the kid. I mean Jesus Christ, he's been given weekends, he's "won". She does all the mundane shit and he does all the fun stuff. Tbh he sounds like an absolute arseclart.

  32. I've sat in the home end at Bolton. If owt had kicked off I'm confident I could have lost them in the aisles of Boots or Home Bargains next door to their shite retail park situated ground.

  33. canny article that. of course the problem 'charlie' has got is that real name, ie the one he bought the ticket with, will almost certainly have now been shared with the premier league and its member club. it says so in the t&c's for anybody who can be arsed to trawl through them, it's like war and peace, the parts alone which deal with sanctions for any kind of violations alone is longer than lord of the rings. heard the story of the young kid in the liverpool top at brighton, the dad rang in talked to sutton and savage about it on 606 after the arsenal game, a shame but then a pretty stupid thing to do really.

  34. Cosying up to the Cheneys? Really? Other right wing ghouls? Liz Cheney's endorsement was an appeal to stop Trump whom she rightly sees as a threat to democracy. It was supposed to swing traditional republicans. It clearly didn't work but if this is the reason the "lefties" didn't vote for the sane candidate they can get fucked. The more I think about it, Harris had no chance in this election whatever she did. A large proportion of Gen Z turned out for Trump. They like this alpha male strong man bullshit.. Some overlook his debasing morality and criminality, others actively like it. Do you honestly think a Bernie Sanders style swing to the left will work in the US, when Harris was thought to be a communist by half the electorate? I don't know what the solution is, in reality it will probably be Trump's own failures rather than anything the deomocrats can do at this stage.

  36. I mean, I've done the Trump list, but one of the things I truly, truly cannot get my head around is the Republican party , the Hawkish party of Reagan and Bush, kowtowing to Russia in this way. It's mind boggling. And I agree, we should regard it as a war. The only good thing to come out ofthe Ukraine travesty is its shown the Russian army are useless. Europe can beat Russia without America's help.

  37. By "we" I guess you mean broadly left leaning progressives rather than me and you. I think a lot depends on how it pans out for Trump and how much of the safety rail he can tear down in the first 4 years. I think he can do one hell of a lot of damage and his economic policies (if followed through) will not endear him to the MAGAs, like it didn't in 2020. Question is whether democracy is still functioning in 2028, or by then it has changed to something more Putinesque. I mean, obviously, as others have said, no point in worrying about it for now at least.
