I made the point that I was just pleased it wasn't another managed decline budget, and that whether it worked or not, at least they're trying to do something. To my absolute fucking amazement, she agreed. Then she revealed that she's come off watching rolling news (GB and TalkTV) because it's leaving her permanently enraged. Funny that, almost like it's their business model. Anyway, she'll be back on it before long, but it's amazing what even a couple of weeks of not being told what to think about things by the telly can do for you.
