If the Longstaff move to Man Utd had materialised he’d have 100% been in next England squad.6 points

Even a dodgy sale to Saudi might have been nice just to ruffle feathers a bit. Fine Miggy doesnt want to go there the useless tit, but how much did we sell ASM for? 25M? Sheesh. It's like the club has been tucking their tail between the legs and saying 'please oh please dont question us premier league please look how nice we are'. And if a certain Australian is reading 25M is still far too much for him, it's just that Chelsea or ManUtd would have gotten 35-40M.3 points

I don't have any issue with the club following the rules. If we break the rules, we'll face points deductions. Whatever Chelsea has done, it's been deemed to be within the rules so far, as far as I'm aware. And we don't have any hotels, or any other assets to sell. The rules that we're following are total bullshit, but they're fairly black and white. There IS no magic wand, so it's not right to criticise the club for not locating it.3 points

There'll be none of these SHITE nonsense score predictions when I take over match threads. It's that bullshit that's prompted our downturn in fortunes. We were flying before all you knackers started with that. "111 NIL AND ALL GOALS TO BE SCORED BY PLAYERS THAT HAVE LONG SINCE RETIRED OR DIED. 🤭🤭🤭" JUST. FUCKING. RAM IT!3 points

As I alluded to a few days ago, something is very “off” in the Trump campaign- none of the hangers-on and bullshit merchants from his previous runs have made much of an appearance, there’s an awful lot of “decent” republicans coming out publicly against him, his family have barely been seen bar that coke-freak married to Cunt Son No. 1, and Melania dragged herself away from being buckled by fitness coach to stand on stage for a couple of minutes in New York. Everyone of any note, bar that cunt Musk, have stepped away from the stinker. I reckon his staff know he’s lost his marbles and are just waiting for him to get locked up. Doesn’t stop the crazies from MAGAing their way down to cast their MAGA vote then doing some vocal MAGAisms for the cameras, but I reckon he’s shat in his own bed… … and pants, and in his bedside drawers, on the golf cart, in his boxes of classified documents etc.3 points

He looked superb when he broke on the scene to be honest. I had massively high hopes for him. He seems a different a player to then.3 points

He's an asset stripping cunt. No surprise that loads of club staff have been laid off (including Sir Alex). Fully expect him to offer contract renewals on reduced wages for the current squad too https://www.ineos.com/inch-magazine/articles/issue-5/the-grangemouth-dispute/2 points

I’m inclined to agree with you, as the saying goes: ‘shy bairns get nowt’. I’m frustrated that we’ve done everything by the book. Where’s the training kit sponsor? Where’s the training ground sponsor? Where’s the official tampon supplier to the men’s team? We’ve taken a lot of flak for being owned by a bunch of murderous oil loving cunts without seeing the full benefit of it. If they’re okay with cutting up journalists with a bone saw then I reckon they wouldn’t be too upset with some PL aggro. It’s up to the people at SJP to push that.2 points

Man City took the PL to court cos they had a sponsorship deal refused due to the new rules. We acted as witness on their behalf. We don't have to come up with our own separate legal challenge. And we aren't able to use PIF's muscle to our benefit because it's muscle is entirely financial and they've brought rules in specifically to prevent a situation where a PIF comes along and uses its financial muscle. We're all frustrated, but blaming the club because they haven't taken the PL to court, or haven't found a hotel to sell (instead of squad players), is "daddy I want an oompah loompah!" territory. The rules need to change. And Man City's victory will hopefully be the start of that. But if the rules don't change, we're going to go on being frustrated in the short term at the very least.2 points

It's testament to how shit our youth system was under Ashley that we were properly excited about Longstaff. He did have a good spell under Rafa but never was he ever an exciting player. Worked hard and gelled well in a midfield with Isaac Hayden (ridiculous I know). Hayden was a good player once upon a time but his body wasn't up to his combative nature. Because this was under Rafa the focus was on defensive stability and compressing space so it suited him. In a more expansive game Longstaff doesn't have the athleticism to keep up, he covers a lot of ground but at what seems a snail's pace. I don't see any future for him here and wish we sold him instead of Anderson. Miley is a superior player already with a better range of passing, more physical presence and never gets caught on the ball like Longstaff frequntly does. And that's my rant for today.2 points

If you've got 2 people going to work 5 days a week that's 20 quid a week plus whatever they put kids fares up by to get to school Much of the reason for the cap was to get people using public transport again as it is do much better for congestion and the environment. Bus usage down here has just got back to pre civid levels Fuel prices are down 50p a litre from a couple of years ago so as goid a time as any to end the duty freeze2 points

On reflection I thionk a rise to £2.50 would have been better and fair - more in line with inflation. Should also be expanded to local rail. As for fuel duty, nothing is more politically toxic than this for some reason. Interesting nobody is highlighting anything more positive here - increase in minimum wage, the beginning of healthcare reforms. Not to mention: The formation of a national wealth fund. Rail Nationalisation bill. School breakfast clubs. Onshore wind farms. Planning applications reform to encourage new housing. Employment rights bill. Water special measures bill. Scrapping Rwanda, border security command. Cessation of sales of arms to Israel. Probably a few things I have forgotten, but we're only 3 months in, yet it's like reading the Daily Mail thisplace sometimes with the negativity.2 points

fucks sake man, forget the advent of the football casual with the expensive sportswear, the mid 70s boot boys were truly the trendsetters of terrace fashion! dr martens, huge flairs (bit surprised there's only the lad kneeling down front right with the huge turn ups on, skinners I think they were called, he must've been the guru!) checked sports jackets, silk scarves. only thing missing in that photo is some star jumpers, that particular fashion icon must've been simmering away in the background ready to burst on to the scene!2 points

Great just great. Ten Hag was going to be the prime source of football entertainment now that Nufc are painful to watch again. This week just keeps getting better.2 points

A mackem lass goes to the dole office to register for child benefit “How many children?” asks the welfare officer. “Ten” replies the mackem. “Ten?” says the welfare worker. “What are their names?” “Brayden, Brayden, Brayden, Brayden, Brayden, Brayden, Brayden, Brayden, Brayden and Brayden” she says. “Doesn’t that get confusing?” “Naah…” says the mackem lass, “It’s great because if they’re out playing in the street I just have to shout ‘Brayden yer dinner’s ready!’ or ‘Brayden go to bed now!’ and they all do it” “What if you want to speak to one individually?” says the curious welfare worker. “That’s easy,” says the mackem lass.... “I just use their surnames.”2 points

We played better when he went off when Longstaff and Willock came on and Joelinton moved to left wing… I think Howe likes Joelinton because he likes what he imagines to be the physicality the player formerly displayed but pretty much no longer does in the middle of the park at the start of games. Tonali doesn’t fit. Hes a slightly more spatially aware and combative Hugo Viana. I think he was offered to us due to his upcoming betting issues…1 point
