You’ve got to feel for Alex Hurst though. He’d bargained on being an influencer who was given the inside track and delivering smugness about the behemoth that is Newcastle United. And now Staveley has fucked off and his rail tickets aren’t just standard class, he has to buy them too. And he’s just found out someone lied to him when they said the DLT look was cool. That’s before even mentioning spaniel chebs12 points

Whereas they'd have left the women behind and got in the lifeboats with the kids.8 points

Blatantly just shagged prime Ulrika that morning before heading down to the pool and bumping into the German Scouse apologist.6 points

There was some piece on SSN interviewing Shearer at Gateshead international stadium talking about people running for him in the GNR for his charity. Downie was interviewing him and in the background behind AS was some of good folk who'd volunteered for his charity you could see some of them but sometimes AS was blocking the view but one them managed to be in full view to the edge limbering up like the rest half looking at their fellow runners and half checking out the cameras with a sly look. Anyway, they got on the TV which is the main thing..... "I was on sky sports news? I didn't even realise it was going to be on TV?!"6 points

haven't hurst and spaniel lugs both resigned their positions on the n.us.t. board too since the advent of the supporters liason committee rendered truefaith's baby the irrelevance it was anyway? the pair of them pack about as much of a punch these days as adam pearson. there's only really gemmill listens to any of the cunts.6 points

I was right by the corner flag against Southampton and he was constantly on the side line and giving Tino loads of advice and keeping him right. Then loads of backchat whenever a Southampton player was about to take a corner / throw in He’ll look miserable because he’s just flushed his personal life down the shitter, but I have no doubt he’s still a top pro around the club.5 points

Everbody else: "......" MLF: "The mags would've been the fust on the lifeboats on the titanic leyving the wimmins and the kids beyhind." Everybody else: "U ok Hun?"5 points

I don't listen to ANY NUFC specific podcasts, actually, Uncle Grimace. Lineker's one is the only football one I still bother with.5 points

I feel a bit sorry for this Greek lad we signed from Forest. He's now probably gonna be loaned out, having been used as a makeweight to meet PSR. This is a bloke's career being fucked about with cos of these stupid rules.4 points

I have terrible guilt being a Newcastle fan, knowing that I put my life before my wife and kids in a ship disaster a century ago. And as for this, I see the error of my ways. I promise to sleeping with close relatives and seagulls, stop fisting horses, and will put my ISIS flag in the bin.4 points

I noticed on the telly that he was doing the leadership stuff still. Even yesterday, despite them showing him with his head in his hands and what not. He might be a fuck up off the pitch but he’s still a model pro on it IMO.3 points

I always think Springsteen comes across as a good bloke but I’m not really into his music. I don’t dislike or have strong feelings about it in general. But I absolutely love that album. I think it was just demo tapes he did ahead of recording an album with the E Street Band and they convinced him to release it as was when they heard it.3 points

I reckon Marty D is away, which is why he wasn't in the squad yesterday, and we want a proper understudy instead of an old man and King Poseidon.3 points

I lean toward Darkness on the Edge of Town as his best but aye, Nebraska is brilliant. It took me a while to get it but I remember giving it another go on an absolutely miserable bus ride in the winter and it just clicked2 points

When love breaks down, the things you do, to stop the truth from hurting you.2 points

Aye when a marriage (or marriage style relationship) breaks down it can be truly devastating, as a lot of us no doubt know, it affects everything. It’s not like he can just toddle along to the office at 9, grin and bear it and then fuck off at 5.2 points

This, and the presence of Nic Cage in the cast, are making me want to watch it2 points

His personal life must be in massive upheaval. I actually wonder if he was injured last season or just mentally injured. He has never been the same since he left the England camp that time.2 points
-
The longer this goes on the more you start to worry that Howe is unhappy (whether it’s with new management or just in general) He can’t improve the club if the players aren’t coming in. I wonder if he is thinking now would be a good time to take the England job. His stock might drop if he has the shackles on.2 points

Some anecdote that first one. Also I assume they’ve invented a story that the Sunderland gull fucker is, in fact, a Mag and that’s now the latest RTG delusional comfort blanket. They’re top of the championship and that disallowed Bournemouth goal has still managed to ruin their weekend2 points
-
Aye. He basically speculates a bit, throws in a couple of jibes (which they seem to think are clever, but are about as subtle as a brick). And, apart from that, says precisely nothing that isn’t blindingly fucking obvious. And of course the lap it up on RTG and say how great he is. They like Jonathan Liew too. I can’t think why2 points

Same, I think it's the best thing he's done. Mainly cos you're not straining to hear his voice over his fucking stupid band.2 points

Wyatt Earp and the Cowboy War is a new docudrama on Netflix. Narrated by Ed Harris. Starts with the Gunfight at the OK Corral and picks up the story after that. It's canny if you like a bit of western action. Dramatised bits interspersed with patter from historians and authors.2 points
-
I think it's really ironic when you hear some of those Everton fans calling some of their players rats. Super ironic tbh.2 points

The way sky treat Man U and Liverpool is like what the football coverage used to be when a British team played a foreign team in Europe especially in the latter rounds. Anyone playing those two clubs are the foreigners. I take it they couldn't give a fuck about everyone in this country who doesn't support those two clubs and aren't bothered about them not subscribing to their service? I'm pleased I'm on fire stick sports tbh. (Seriously, I wouldn't pay them a penny for the type of coverage they give most other clubs).2 points
