I know it's not football related but Ineos cycling team look set to be losing one of their star riders Tom Pidcock and they're gradually getting shite. They've renewed contracts of old men most def on cheaper wages. They missed out on a superb talent because they wouldn't pay. Well done Sir Jim. Keep it up at Man Utd too3 points

Wifes on the phone to her Aunt. Wife just been telling her about one of her colleagues. Mentioned about from WFH and her aunt was all negative about it. Saying how thats the issue with the councils etc. My wife WFH twice a week and has done since 2020. That's not crossed her mind though the utter mong Oh and yes, shes a Tory. But she votes them because she's told to. She still thinks the fucking King runs the country.3 points

They work a lot on set pieces. I think they even get a big goal bonus if they score from one. I agree but Howe sees both in training everyday. If Pope isnโt 100% match sharp then he might be holding him back.2 points

Incorrect. But Pope is better than ramsdale, we need a younger keeper to push pope next season and take over when necessary2 points

Wouldn't be a big surprise if Mouth Of The Tyne just knows before Ramsdale does.2 points

I really don't get that vibe from Wilson at all. Especially when sharing a cuppa with him after he's been for a service. Errr I mean, seen him interviewed. He comes across as a grounded bloke. He will 100% want to play and when he does he is a serious threat. BUT he surely realises he is a year older, his injuries this year and his history of injuries he isn't going to be a main starter, especially when we have Isak.2 points

ET's his top nark. He gets information through telepathy with the movers and shakers in the transfer market. He's just got to look at a photo of Jamie Rueben and our five year transfer targets are imprinted in his brain. He then spills the beans to Mouth of the Tyne at the area 51 rendezvous point.2 points

I get what you're saying, I myself have questioned how wise our transfer dealings last summer were. That's all in hindsight and down to the terrible luck we've had this season though. They were all transfers that improved the quality of the squad. Kelly is likely cover, not a Botman replacement. Given how well the back 4 did last season and how with injuries they've struggled this time around, it's clear we need better quality backup. Upgrading Schar can wait a season or two, he's been absolute quality. That's where Tosin might come in once Howe has worked his magic on him. Also they're both free transfers aren't they? I'm pretty sure Barnes was not a Gordon upgrade. He mainly plays on the left so if anything he was an ASM replacement with Gordon the flexible option up top.2 points

@Tom recalls seeing him on a UFO abduction programme and that's all you need to know about him2 points

You need your forwards to be confident but if Wilson thinks he's going to be the main man over Isak he's delusional. And that's before his fitness record comes into the picture. If Trips really has issues as well I hope Bayern or somebody else are still willing to pay the 12M or so. Tino seems to be ready to take over, but despite the last few months Trippier has easily been one of the top players I've seen play for us. Proper world class at times. Will be sad if he does go.2 points

According to the press conference, Wilson is expected to be back for Sunday, so it sounds like he's recovered from his falling out with Howe.2 points

Sounds like it's his Mrs who wants away. Whether thats because he's getting his pipe wet or what? I've seen some moaning about him, but for me he will have been one of the main catalysts for our survival and I've really enjoyed seeing him at the club.2 points
