I love their misplaced theory that they are super fans and don’t whinge. They literally hound out every manager they appoint and have the most toxic home ground in the entire English leagues.10 points

mackems getting beat 2-0 at home to Blackburn. They really need to bring on Excile to turn the game around 😂10 points

Quick glance at the thread titles and I think it might be safe to suggest that perhaps just perhaps the model might not be working. Unfortunately for everybody else all they've got to do is tap into their local 7 a side scene to pick up a few players that can lay ruin to full Brazil internationals.7 points

Just came here to post that Tbh they’ll do the mackem version of our 4-3 turnaround and lose 3-07 points

No one will never understand what makes them tick, they are all fucking tapped.5 points

This. I sometimes look at their match on the fixture list. Normally you see a team playing at home, you increase their chances of winning. With this lot, if they play away it's an advantage. Think Blackburn hadn't won for 9 games before this match? Must have been rubbing their hands together. Of course, most fans only see their team play at home. Which makes their misery only the more satisfying! 😂5 points

I feel sorry for any wandering Durham Mags they bump into tonight, there'll be windmilling going on left, right and centre.5 points

Looking at their match thread, it appears the god like status bestowed upon that Onion bloke for tackling a 17 year old has been rescinded.5 points

It’s incredible that the entire football system missed a talent better than Bruno Guimeraes.5 points

So KLD isn’t a brilliant owner now? Hard to keep up with those dozy cunts. Aye the mackems have this very weird view of themselves as a bunch of loyal to a fault super fans. Meanwhile basically every player that leaves them leaves on horrible terms and rarely want anything to do with the place again (see Bent after they racially abused his mother, Grabban, etc). They hound out every single manager aside from fucking Sam Allardyce , which is why they average about 2 managers a season. They legitimately fell out with the prior owners due to the toxic atmosphere of the stadium, the documentary showed those owners trying to drown them out with Ibiza tunes, while the inside stadium images of the doc showed them assaulting the cameraman. They also hounded and abused Short despite the bloke bankrolling them for his entire ownership, then digging them out a financial hole when he did leave.4 points

That fantasy is all they have. They don't match up in terms of recent quality, even in the halcyon days of Six in a Rowuh it meant more to them because they knew we were the better side, with loftier ambitions and greater chance of reaching higher heights. So they'd need something abstract upon which to pin their support.4 points

What is it that we did that other fan bases who have protested have not done? The only thing that sticks out for me is that bloke who did the NUFC coffin but every single fan base has their own version of him. I guess there is the bloke who punched the horse but one of their fans did exactly the same thing. I have not heard of one of our fans shitting on a seat but I have seen some questionable things down the Bigg Market. I just do not get the moral superiority when their city is such a dump.4 points

Being a massive fan of lads musnt be much fun. Alright, you get loads of admiration in far corners of the World, with people wishing you well in the fight against the Mags, FTM, but the toxic atmosphere at home games? The only fun is betting who will leave first.3 points

Wilcox and Ashworth are to work together. I hope they're the new Truss and Kwarteng.2 points

It;s been a bit quiet. I hope there's something in Ashworth's contract that allows the club to tell him to piss off in case ManUtd back out.2 points

Aye Wilson and Almiron upgrades were desperately needed. Who knows whats possible now. Lascelles might have been a candidate to sell as well if he wanted first team football. Incredible that not only have injuries completely overwhelmed this campaign but are already directly affecting what we do in the summer and next season too.2 points

The one thing Exile had left to cling on to was the length of time since Newcastle had beaten Sunderland. With that no longer being the case he’s complete lost it. That’s me assuming he wasn’t a better player than a current Brazil international when he was in his mid 20s though2 points

Going by some of the shapes he was making, I'm guessing in reality he wasn't made for dancing.1 point

Do they want Wilcox as well as Ashworth, or is this an attempt at scaring us into buckling? Am I right in thinking the whole Ashworth thing has gone quiet or have I missed a deal being announced?1 point
