100% This seems to highlight why Howe wanted to get Pope and move Dubruv out the squad. Dubruv has largely performed well in terms of stopping shots but his style doesn't suit Howe's tactics. I'm interested to see what happens in the next few windows because given the FFP restrictions spending money on a backup GK that's similar to Pope is probably well down the list of priorities. And you'd have to imagine that Karius is also not the solution as Howe sees it. The only solution is to play Tino in goal. Yeah, sure, Burn is tall but he's too slow to sweep up throughballs. Need Tino's pace. When will Howe realise?!10 points

Jack Clarke is the best winger in the championship, better than any current premier league winger and would be 8th in the premier league on his own. FACT.8 points

the way they go on about him, man. The next Chris Waddle and all that shite. You’re genuinely talking about the sort of player who’ll do very well to have a career anywhere near as good as someone like Wayne Routledge. Which isn’t a dig at either player. Just highlighting how batshit crazy a fair proportion of RTG are.7 points

It's carries into the Premier league they need to worry about, and he's fucking SHITE at that.7 points

Last month, we exposed the massive gap between the two teams and, had one Joelinton not got injured, 2-0 after 46 minutes would have been a mere prelude. No amount of “hatred” can ever soften the knowledge that we played with them like a lion with a dead gazelle7 points

Getting angry at Gloomy's perceived inability to tolerate that Howe has a difference of opinion has to be some sort of irony world record tbh. I also had no idea that Gloomy had been down the training ground demanding answers from Wor Eddie. Bit over the top. But I respect it. After expressing your opinion on the Toontastic Message Board there's only one place to go from there to raise the stakes and that's directly to Howe to demand answers. It's becoming obvious that Howe is just one more in a long line of question avoiders in the history of Toontastic. His silence has NOT gone unnoticed!7 points

Adam Armstrong has more goals and more than twice as many assists from less appearances this season. Which puts Clarke’s absolutely incredible numbers for 2023/24 into some context6 points

"Burn is getting beaten too often at his near post. It's because he only has 9 fingers so can only make fingertip saves 4 out of 5 times on that hand. This is on Howe. I'm not overreacting and think Howe needs time, but also Howe out NOW!"6 points

The comedowns/hangovers are crossing timezones here like, snarky fuckers. Everyone can watch the same game of football and come up with different opinions, it’s why we all still watch. You are all wrong btw, I’m right.6 points

If we play Tino we're less susceptible to pacey wingers in a straight race, but are more susceptible to powerful wide men and we're more likely to be left shorthanded whenever we're hit on the counter because Tino will be further up the field. If we play Burn we're able to switch to a fairly solid back 3, but are more susceptible to pacey wingers. Stick Joelinton in the midfield and both players' weaknesses are mitigated somewhat. Maybe the answer isn't dropping Burn, but changing the way the midfield operate? Or pulling Gordon further back to provide defensive cover? Changing formation to a 5-3-2, with Burn and Tino on the left hand side, the only 3 midfielders we've got in front of them and Isak/Wilson and Gordon up front? I don't know what the answer is, but I don't think a straight swap of left backs is the panacea people appear to think it is.4 points

Well, this was on the member forum. Difference between us is, I rarely if ever see any posts on here hating them or their city. As per the name of the thread, 90% of it is just laughing at their daft threads about us. No anger, bitterness. No mention of hate, scum, smashing tellys. Just a mixture of bemusement and amusemsent. Hardly even a mention of their tragic matches unless it's their other yearly play off games. Think most wouldn't even mind if they are promoted, as we know it is a guranteed source of more amusement. Of course, they know this and it makes them even more livid.4 points

Whereas these days I see them purely as an abundant mine of amusement. No deep shafts to dig to get to it, it's lying on the surface.4 points

He played for the mackems as well as Boro, which appears to be the reason the six fingered ones granda started supporting the tramps, it’s the only way I can make sense of his ramblings. And if watching us on the telly has that effect, I’d say the simple answer is to …STOP WATCHING THEN YOU GORMLESS TWAT!4 points

Longstaff has, by all conventional wisdom, struggled recently but he’s also beaten his best goalscoring season with 3 month to go. This is a team of contradictions and impossible to figure out4 points

Having just watched Only Connect, I now know we needn’t worry about climate change. If my maths is correct, and growth is consistent, within 20 years the entire planet will be replaced by Victoria Coren’s tits. What a way to go.3 points

Has anyone had the pleasure of being recommended Toyah Wilcox and Robert Fripp's YouTube channel to them? It's basically just Toyah parading her braless tits about, which tbf for a 65 year old are impressive. See Exhibit A above. I'd have to assume @Monkeys Fistis a subscriber. Probably a member of the Patreon too. Cant get rid of this daft blank quote box.3 points
