Oh my, oh my, my poor trophyshy. I really do pity you. There are a clique of us who have risen above the confines of this mortal coil and transcended into the realm of professional loafing. It's not easy, it takes a certain type of person who has no passion for work and who has successfully managed their work responsibilities to relatively trivial inputs in order to survive. I myself have managed this over three career jobs over 20 years doing this. Middle job was a challenge because the internet blocked this site but hey that's what phones are for. Doesn't stop me be the best performing employee in my role so fuck knows how bad my peers are. Probably over-loafed which is a risk.7 points

We had a match last night against a local quarry We beat them 2-1 on aggregate6 points

Rough result but we all know why it happened. Absolutely no criticism of Trippier for me despite the goals, we all know why those errors happened too. Pickford celebrating is fine IMO, he will know these moments will be few and far between against us and most of the time he's being humiliated - watch out for the return leg at St James where he sprints down the tunnel in tears at full time. Aa for the rest of this month, it's gonna be rough. I think the position I've landed on is that even if we lost every single game until January, I'm going to struggle to blame the players or the team. They're working so hard and they've got my support either way. We know this is a very good team, we know the try, we know the system works.5 points

my mate whatsapp'd me earlier this morning, he'd got his knickers in a right knot because the club were offloading tickets for the milan game for a fiver apparently after we'd paid £60 for ours. daft cunt was looking at the ones for the under 19s game.5 points

Said to mates last night around 60 minutes that it would be a moment of genuine quality or a calamitous mistake that would decide the game. Wasn't expecting two, from us, by Trippier of all people. Everton played as well as they could, but don't be under any delusion; had we a full strength XI, or even options from the bench, we wouldn't have lost that game. 3-0 flatters them massively, that was a niggly, scrappy attritional 1-0 if ever I saw one. Trippier's errors were born of exhaustion and while he shoulders the blame for two of their goals, the attacking group didn't do enough with the few chances we had and didn't do enough to create chances either. It's not surprise that the goals all came late on in the second half. Mind you 270 minutes over 8 days, against top tier opposition in PSG, Man Utd and a motivated indignant Everton was always going to be a big ask. If you'd said we'd have 6pts from Chelsea, Man Utd and Everton I think we all would have taken that. Gordon looked off it all game and I wonder if the occasion got to him. First real game against them, at Goodison, in front of a hostile fanbase, when he's surely knackered. Almiron and Isak didn't do much either. Spurs next and unless there's a miraculous recovery it'll be the same 11 again, I reckon. What I hope will do is either change how we set up, or put some faith in the fresh legs of our fringe players to see out a game.4 points

I would bet there's been something approaching a 15% increase in minutes played too with all the stupid rules changes.4 points

That's shocking. I mean, one of the planes crashed in a field ffs. "Perfection" indeed.3 points

Na fuck that, I think we rotate Hall and Krafth at least into the starting 11, possibly even Dummett (I know!) even if it's just for the first 60 minutes. Our entire back line looks fucked, and a team like Spurs will absolutely crucify us if we aren't careful. A rotated back 4 managed to make a mug of Man City and Man Utd in the cup games so I think we have to take a bit of a gamble and trust that they can do the job. Longstaff might be back for the Milan game (I read somewhere) which would be a massive help too.3 points

A solid week of hitting refresh has finally paid off and I've got myself a ticket for the Milan match.3 points

Quarter of a billion pounds spunkedup up the wall on the bat shit Rwanda policy. Not a single person will be transported to Rwanda. As I travel to work on a 40 odd year old metro designed for 30 years service max, I reflect that that is about the money needed to replace the entire fleet.3 points

Thought they were dead against club funded flag displays? Anyway, that’s good as this lot will not be able to help themselves when it comes to not putting something racist on so there’s some pelters in the post for them3 points

If anything, the impact of the support on last night was low single digits in percentage terms. The vast, vast majority of the reason for last night was exhaustion. We knew the squad wasn't big enough to cope with 4 competitions at the start of the season. We've now halved the squad and we're still in 4 competitions. Home form will be the next thing to go.3 points

I'm sure the VAR issue does have something to do with it. Players stood around waiting for decisions.2 points

100% that's Dobbies. He'd be a fool not to pay £12 year for his Dobbies Rewards Card which entitles you to 2 free coffees a month, and the man is no fool.2 points
