My partner was 19 when we first got together. That would have been illegal when Liam O'Brien went over the wall, to pick a historical event at random10 points

The latest TF episode is a local journos live panel (Hope, Edwards, Downie, Douglas). Anyway, Edwards is talking about Howe and they're talking about how modest he is and how he would hate listening to all the praise he's getting from them for the way he's handled the season and the injury situation etc. Then as an aside Edwards recounts a story one of the coaching staff told him. Apparently Howe's wife has been complaining that they never do anything together in Newcastle. So Eddie takes her to a garden centre. For lunch. He's some boy.9 points

Here @safcforever wait till you find out that BAE Washington manufacture shells that they flog to KSA which subsequently end up being fired upon dirt poor peasants in Yemen… this morality roulette is fuckin brutal man 😆8 points

Homsexuality is illegal in dozens of countries. Before 1967, the maximum sentence for anal sex with a man was life imprisonment in England. Gay people did not get legal equality with heterosexual men (age 16 consent) in England until 2001. I'm not defending nations which make homosexuality illegal, just pointing out Sunderland have only had 20 odd managers since it was completely decriminalised in England.7 points

Aye, wound up about what? Playing a shit side in a cup competition? Why the fuck would anyone be wound up by that, we finally have the opportunity to embarrass the fucking wankers after years of hearing insane ramblings of how they’re somehow a better side than us with Luke O’Nein in the middle of the park while we have Bruno Guimaraes . I’m more than happy for us to play the fucking gimps. I also agree with what you mentioned about them being weird and racist about SA. It’s a simple regime to have a go at, they do horrific things - but despite how easy it is the thick cunts still manage to completely miss the mark and lazily make it just racist.7 points

If nothing else, I’ve learned from these last few pages that I won’t get stoned to death in Saudi Arabia, legally anyway, and that I was breaking the law in 1994. Every days a school day, marras.6 points

Which part? This part? https://www.safc.com/news/ticket-news/2023/december/part-season-tickets-reserve-your-seat Or this part? https://www.aljazeera.com/economy/2020/11/11/bblouis-dreyfus-sells-stake-in-family-business-to-abu-dhabi-fund Don't get me wrong, you'd have to be fairly insane to stop supporting your club for these reasons. Even madder I suggest to stop supporting you club because the owner is investing fortunes in you to become a top 4 club and beyond. As soon as you start start taking the moral highground, you become a hypocrite, that's a fact. All as a comfort blanket to score football points. Well, that's better done on the pitch. Well done for sacking Mowbray btw, let's see how things pan out for you now.6 points

But you only got bothered about Saudi Arabia and Yemen in Oct 2021 didn’t you, before then you couldn’t point to either of them on a map. I see the mackem Ammesty International membership is on its hundreds of thousands…not! None of you give a flying fuck about fewmin rights, all you care about is NUFC failing in anyway possible, even more than supporting your own club …as we’re not failing, it’s all about the fewmin rights, strange you all want City to hammer us and PSG …bunch of frauds the lot of of you. Yes I’ve just joined to say that cos mackems just boil my piss with the utter shite they spout. Oh and your accent is puke inducing 🤮6 points

Whilst neither is pleasant, I think I’d chose stoning over watching my kids slowly starve to death, knowing the same was my fate. We could go back and forth on this for as long as you like, facts are facts. Your owners are at least as bad as ours, arguably far worse. What none of your lot will admit, is that this whole “hewman rights marra!” charade is just that- a charade. You’re all, understandably, seething with jealousy that this has happened to us, and not you, because let’s be brutally honest here- if it had happened to you lot, there’d already be a mosque in the SoS car park, you’d be selling red and white prayer mats in the club shop ( have you still got one, btw?) and there’d be kids running round Pennywell called Mohammad Quinn Henderson. Suck it up, dust yourselves down, and stay classy.5 points

Why don’t you take us through your extensive, pre-2021, involvement in human rights activism? With a particular strong emphasis on the situation in the Arabian peninsula. That way we won’t have to guess. Give us the full geopolitically nuanced lowdown if you want5 points

the truth is if sunderland had been taken over by the PIF the mackems would have loved how ambitious owners transformed their fortunes on the pitch and any guilty thoughts about the oil money would soon subside. any one of them who says otherwise is a liar. they can bang on about the saudi human rights record all they like - which, i think we can all agree is appalling - but it's driven by jealousy. we are on the up and they're stuck in the championship. as football fans, that's the only thing that really matters because we don't get to choose our owners. it's killing them that we're flying high. the human rights nonsense is just noise. they can hardly take the moral high ground after chanting "he shags who he wants" about a convicted nonce4 points

Nice of @safcforever to come on here with well reasoned arguments. I wonder if they think the behaviours shown on RTG are representative of the wider Sunderland fanbase. Because, if they are.... hoo boy.4 points

The mackems are so principled. They definitely wouldn’t stand for a Saudi-backed takeover of their club.4 points
