I think if the word is buy, he's not the right one. PS: In Spain there have always been jokes that Casillas is a stingy person who doesn't spend any money. In Spain there have always been jokes that he is a stingy person who doesn't spend any money. And his own teammates from Real Madrid and the national team always joked about that. PS2: I know him personally because he has lived all his life in the neighborhood right next to mine (In fact, the street next to my house was renamed a few years ago Iker Casillas Street in his honor.) and I can say that he is one of the worst people I have ever met in my life with various despicable acts (his parents are continually being kicked out of shopping centers from the area because they try to steal all kinds of things).10 points

I saw a comment from a supporter that said Liverpool have just experienced what it's like to play against Liverpool and I just thought.....6 points

I can smell the pissy pants on a few of you already. A couple of injuries, too many games in close succession, it's a cold night in October, blah, blah, blah. It's just PSG, Messi, Neymar or Ronaldinho don't play for them anymore. Even Mbappe wants out. Mad Dog to get them geed up. Eddie knows best, onwards and upwards.5 points

Joe Willock's disallowed goal v Palace was way worse than this Diaz thing, and nobody in the media gave a fuck.5 points

The telltale for me on the Isak one was that Sky showed it once, said "that was tight" and never showed it again.5 points

Because your torso crossing the line determines that you’ve finished the race. Not really relevant in this sense as this type of offside is essentially the start of a foot race as opposed to the end. However I can see the logic of the law. Because if it was a ball crossed into the box and the defender and attacker weren’t running then you could theoretically gain an ‘unfair’ advantage by having a part of your body in front of the defender when the ball was played. Even if the attacker’s feet weren’t ahead of the defender’s. I think the main point with the Isak one though is that it was offside and, within the current rules, that decision was right. The problem isn’t so much the law, it’s the (in)consistent application of it. As PL mentions, there’s technology available that would appear to remove the potential for human error. If that’s the case then why isn’t it being used? Because offside (similar to whether or not the ball has crossed the line) is not something that shouldn’t be open to interpretation. The worrying thing is VAR is no longer new, yet the issues around it seem no closer to being resolved. That was a fucking incredibly bad decision yesterday, for example. Hilarious too of course5 points

Fucking painful reading. “I’d definitely fuck Liverpool off while they were owned by the regime” Aye mate of course, no you would moan that they hadn’t spent the money you’d expected them to.4 points

the last few pages are on another level of horrific, one of our own black and white paul spends a large part of his life kissing these scouse cunts arses. special mention for revered poster on there 'son of spion' who not for the first time posts quite possibly the biggest pile of drivel I've ever seen in messageboard land. you'd think these sanctimonious, principled fuckwits would've walked away from their own club really when there was every chance they were stood next to cunts who were responsible for the death of 32 Italians, 4 belgians, 2 french and 1 from northern Ireland. but no, conveniently forgotten about or blamed on chelsea's headhunters. fucking despise them. https://www.redandwhitekop.com/forum/index.php?topic=354531.5604 points

Absolutely. I’ve said before the VAR officials should own / make those decisions. Not have the ridiculous spectacle of a ref looking at a monitor, under immense pressure, in front of a baying crowd without even the full picture of how the events unfolded.4 points

Correct. Offside is an objective metric which should be decided by AI very quickly, maybe instantly. It's also by far the most frequent issue of VAR halts and controversies. Personally, I'd like to see a " clear daylight" implementation to benefit the attacking team. More goals, more entertainment.4 points

Daylight was a guideline in the mid 90s, not a law. The automated systems used in the men’s & womens WC recently were rejected by the clubs that form the premier league in favour of keeping the human element in the judgement of decisions. Wonder why?4 points
-
I can understand why they did that in this case given the nature of the fuck up. The bloke in the var booth said check complete presuming that they had given the goal onside. Human error, probably a result of them not wanting to be seen to be taking too long on decisions. They realised the mistake after the game kicked off again, by which time it was too late. such an unfortunate thing to happen to liverpool4 points

Any team really could list at least half a dozen things and all you hear is :oh they balance out over the season' Oh do they? So why are the cunts at wallmart fucking moaning then?,3 points

They've kicked off and issued a statement Now watch the cunts get every decision going.3 points

What a fucking petulant, unprofessional, narcissistic cunt. I can smell his breath just from that pic.3 points

I like that they think the 8 reds in 8 years was because they’re this clean team, and not because they typically get the benefit of the doubt in every decision. The reaction their fan base is having to fucking stone wall red cards such as Van Dijk against us and Curtis Jones yesterday says to me they absolutely should have had more reds over the years but have got away with so much their fans think they’re fair tackles.3 points

It's a fucking piss take. My father in law said to me on WhatsApp 'You need to forget about what teams involved as it was the wrong decision' He knows I fucking detest Liverpool and he seems to think me laughing at them is bitterness. Fuck that. Its years of them having the decisions, the media backing and the sycophantic wank fest, whilst teams out the protected lot get fuck all and shit on. Fuck off. The status quo is changing and they don't like it.3 points

A decision goes against Manchester United or Liverpool and it's fucking end of days in the media, every cunt else it's 'yeah, they've been unlucky there, moving on.....'3 points

Just saw that Liverpool offside decision The reaction is hilarious because it’s the first time they’ve ever had the shit hit the fan with VAR after literal seasons of benefit. Fuck them. Diddums. They’ve even rode their luck massively this season and it’s only a month old ffs.3 points

5Live is fucking shit, mate. As is almost anything else in the media in terms of debating this sort of thing. I want evidence based research informing these decisions. Not sone thick as fuck bint or whoever spouting irrelevant shite. Even by listening and getting annoyed I feel like I’m facilitating the race to the bottom (in an intellectual sense)3 points

There's also the ref review angle choice - the idiots last year against Palace showed the one angle out of 10 that didn't show Willock was clearly pushed. On that red last night which I still think was a red btw they chose the one where it most looked like a leg breaker without the second before showing his ffoot possibly sliding off the ball.3 points

It's been out wedding anniversary this week. Earlier this year I booked a surprise spa weekend for us. It's a place I've never been and had storming reviews. A few weeks ago told our lass to book Friday off and told her where we are going. She booked a 3h spa session with fanny rubbing etc so i got out on the push iron for a couple of hours. We got into our room. No hot water. Shower didn't work. Reception said we could use spa shower (wow fucking generous) and it's something they knew about. Why not fucking tell us? Went down for tea last night. Ordered our stuff. Wires came didn't look like what we expected. Asked the young kid. He came back and said it was what was ordered. It fucking wasn't. Anyways. Head waitress said she would knock off the drinks for us (a tap water and a lemonade they are kind) Went down to breakfast this morning. Wife orders scrambled eggs on avocado I wanted some porridge. Young kid comes back with poached egg on toast and my porridge. Wife tells him that's not what she orders so he goes away. Meanwhile I've no fucking spoon. So I go in search of one. Get one get to my porridge, it's stone cold. So this afternoon I go to reception to speak to someone to be told 'we will make a not to take off the service charge' i almost dragged the cunt off reception. So tonight we're eating out and I've told them I run a YouTube page on reviewing local hotels. Cunts.3 points

I think it's out of proportion. This is the first time in 15 years that VAR have made a mistake. They were bound to get one wrong eventually. It's just a shame it was against Liverpool. Poor Liverpool. It could've happened to any of us. I guess Liverpool are just the most unlucky club in the world. It's a tragedy. Could you imagine if something like this ever happened to us? It's hard to fathom but I think we'd also be pretty annoyed.2 points

If they were punishing Klopp for how much of a cunt he is, they'd have had a lot more than 4 reds.2 points

Yeah, I get all that and I don’t disagree. I mentioned about why athletes dip because I don’t think Isak gains an unfair advantage in this instance. I know that’s not relevant to the law as it stands. But the feet position would perhaps be better. Like if a defender is caught on his heels and the attacker has some of his body ahead of the defender. This is likely because the attacker’s momentum means that would be his natural body position. In an instance like that it seems to favour a defender who has switched off. For decades now the law has been about giving the attacker the benefit of the doubt and it now runs counter to that imo. Like I said though the main problem is obvious human error coming into an area (VAR) that was meant to remove that. Rather than the law itself.2 points

Didn't see the game but just watched the highlights. Agree with sentiment on here but just want to call out that Bruno looked pretty damn solid to me. Some great touches to get our attacks going, great passes here and there too. Probably could have won that 5-0 and not felt lucky, but 2-0 and 3 points is more than good enough.2 points

Just put Saturday soccer thing on sky, fuck me, it's even worse than it already was! They're talking about who would play themselves in a film! (including Mike Dean). Football Focus is almost unwatchable as well. Might as well get the Saint and Greavsie back on with Doris Stokes doing the interpretation.2 points
