  1. Well reading this thread is a nice way to pass the time on the 2nd to last leg of my journey home 🥴 I enjoyed my stay in Newcastle except for the first half last night. 2nd half (as v Everton) with the changes we improved dramatically and took the game to you I thought. Pushing up in numbers again caught us out though. Good luck for the rest of the season and look forward to watching you in Europe next year. We've still a chance just need a couple of results including something from Villa Park on the last day I think. See you next season 😊

  3. At least their manager is a decent bloke, even with the play off semi final coming up he helped out a local theatre company by sending a few of the squad along to play extras in a play about Vikings. When Mowbray asked the director how they got on the reply he got was 'They were ok at the pillaging and raping but were fucking shite at Luton.'

  5. The usual, very funny. At 1-0, 2-0 the match has been fixed, Di Zerbi has been bribed or threatened with a bone saw, the OG was 100% evidence of this, etc. At 2-1 with Brighton looking in the ascendency (tbh they didn't really, but you know what I mean), it's LMAO, Mags aren't qualifying for the CL, Brighton are a class above, etc. At 3-1 onwards, the match has been fixed, Di Zerbi has been bribed or threatened with a bone saw, the OG was 100% evidence of this. To be clear, a sizable proportion of the SMB really believe Brighton were told to throw the match and complied with this. They are fucking tapped.

  6. I slept terribly last night cos of the adrenaline and was up at 4:20 watching all this shit. Obviously the algorithm fed me Adam P first and I gobbled it up like the good little algoslave that I am.

  7. On the plus side, it's the whole MNF nonsense on Monday so hopefully Carragher and Neville both get to enjoy one of their teams being locked out of the CL.

  12. I'd just about got over Dan Burn leaving and then all hell seemed to let loose in October. My thoughts at the time were along the lines of 'we'll never know now just how far you could have taken us Graham'. The doom and gloom set in and then Roberto came in and after a little bedding in you could see a more adventurous style coming. Potter was excellent for us, no doubt about it. But De Zerbi, thus far, has been terrific. I love his passion compared to dour GP and his repetitive post-defeat analysis . I'm over Graham & Co going now, the shenanigans over Trossard, Caciedo and the persistent rumours. What will be will be. I'm excited by the stream of youngsters coming through, a few of whom you saw last night. I'll take anything going me, my expectations aren't that lofty really. I would have taken this season happily at the start - it's been great so far (even the day out to Forest Green Rovers in the Carabou Cup) . I would just like one European away trip, just one - then I'll be happy. 😊

  13. Credit where it’s due, I thought Miggy was bloody brilliant last night. He may find himself on the bench a bit next season but he will still play an important role. His pressing was as good as anyone’s, his pace tracking back and his touch - the only thing stopping it being a complete performance was the keeper saving his chance.

  15. I and my trusty sausage utility case have never for a moment suggested we wouldn’t finish in the top 4 . It’s you constantly misrepresenting the views of others on here that brings so much shit to your door. And when we beat Leicester on Monday Everton will be a knocking bet to stay up the following weekend and your status as “Toontastic Nostradamus of the season” will be confirmed….again…

  16. Congratulations on the CL Final BTW, you lot were unreal the other night. Hope you win it, then smash Man United in the FA Cup. (.... And then Pep calls it a day ...)

  17. He tried to give Brighton the reverse kiss of death when that Australian lad came on the pitch at 2-1. He very excitedly said, "he wouldn't would he". No he wouldn't and didn't Beglin you fucking biased ballbag.

  18. Fair enough. I used to play for them as a kid when Ron Atkinson was the manager. We played youth team games when the first team was training and he would play at training in 50’s style long shorts with all his gold on and then come watch the kids with a fur coat on. Really nice family club when I was there.

  19. Just reading the thread actually, they are having a full on breakdown today tbh. A few of ours are on there talking about how 'good for the North East it is that one of our clubs will be in the CL given that the others are performing so poorly' They're all climbing over each other to adamantly protest that they don't care, demonstrating the sort of indifference a starving man might have to a 3 course meal. They also managed to crowbar Brexit into it, and then fall out with each other about it. All in all it's been a productive day for RTG's NUFC thread denizens.

  20. Another one who is convinced we're match fixing He wants 2 teams now. Nee way the luck will fall for them next season like it has this. I truly believe they are match fixing. Look at the side Brighton out out last night. It certainly wouldn't surprise me the disgusting murdering Scum. 🤣🤣🤣

  21. Bit disappointed the ex-Barcelona man never gave a shout out to Sunderland what with the huge similarities in football style between the two clubs? He's obviously been told to just concentrate on PL sides by a PL official. It stands out a mile.

  27. Just read the whole thread. Beautiful stuff that’s @Gemmill on match thread starting duty for the rest of time, the sexy ginger twat what a game man. I fucking love this team. I want to have Eddie Howe’s illegitimate children. Thought we absolutely bossed the first half and should have been at least three or four up at the break There was a nervous 20/30 minutes after they scored but we were never really under too much pressure. that was the perfect example of aggressive high pressing. Wilson was absolutely superb leading it from the front and the rest followed. Shout out to Miggy - man of the match for me and back to his early season form. Shame he couldn’t get his goal to round off that performance. so much for us being the perfect style for Brighton. For all the hype about them playing through the press, I thought they were pretty poor but mainly because of the way we smothered them throughout. shame for willock - what a season he’s had though. Champions league? DONE

  29. https://www.foxestalk.co.uk/topic/131803-toon-away/#comments They are not confident. Quite a few of them just wanting to forfeit the game and get it over with, some wanting to get beat 7-0 to make a point to the players, but none of them expecting anything at all. They're talking as if this game relegates them which I don't think it actually does unless Everton and Leeds both win at the weekend. Fish is in there and all.
