Of course our owners weren’t there. There’s absolutely no link between our ownership and the government of Saudi Arabia. I can’t stand these state owned clubs. Ruins it for the rest of us plucky underdogs.13 points

Am completely relaxed, even more so seeing as I’m one of the many that hasn’t made a daft twat prediction for the SECOND Season in a row…7 points

This all day long btw. I didn't have good sight of it, and haven't seen replays, but the ref gave it and this should only be overturned if he's made a howler. But once he's called to the monitor, he's in an impossible position. Fucking sick of VAR. I never wanted it and its not fixable with humans involved.6 points

Afternoon all. 👋 It's all quite intolerably lovely here on Gran Canaria so I'm off to find a dark cavern of a pub to watch the match in.6 points

Speaking of Bucharest, in an attempt to permanently put an end to the kids incessant "I'm bored, what are we doing tomorrow" demands, we've just decided to drag them all up to Dundee for a two day Poverty Safari to see out the bank holiday weekend and hopefully reign in their expectations for the impending summer holidays.5 points

What do you say about that. Firstly Ramsdale was their best player with Odegaard a close second. A bit more clinical and we could have easily won the game. A draw was the least we deserved and would have been a fair result when you, again, look at how we worked Ramsdale. But we have to give credit to Arsenal who weathered our early storm and showed some guts. You also have to acknowledge that they have players with greater technical skill in the wide attacking areas. Apart from Isak pretty much playing out of position we are weak when it comes to accurate passes into the box from our wingers. Almiron and Murphy break my heart with some of the positions they get into only to play the ball behind our attacking players or generally just waste the opportunity. The positives are that we didn't play badly and we came up against a very good team, and next up we have a team down the bottom of the table. Playing a relegation threatened team comes with its own difficulties but if we play as well as we did today we shouldn't have any problems. Related to that I hope fans do take the fact that we played well and lost a tight game to heart and don't start pissing themselves on social media about top 4. I know lads on here joke about mostly but there's some right doom merchants on twitter and elsewhere. You would hope that the players wouldn't be affected by fan pessimism or negativity, but we should be giving all the positivity and support we can until the end regardless. Oh and Bruno clearly needs a rest. He's been shocking by his own standards for more than a few games now. The only problem is that we have no one to replace him with. That problem along with needing more technical quality in attacking areas will hopefully be addressed in the summer. We should always remember how far ahead we are of schedule.4 points

I can’t get over that handball law tbh. How hard is it to just say “if that ball hits your arm and it’s canny apparent that you meant it, it’s handball” Why the FUCK are they obsessed with convoluting everything? No wonder the refs are fucking useless, no cunt could possibly make a decision in real time with this rule book4 points

Gemmill is only writing Liverpool off because he wasn’t watching football when they were practically unbeaten for 2 seasons4 points

He’s on the ropes, swinging wildly. Arsenal are about to deliver a vicious uppercut to him, he’ll probably stay on his feet for a standing count though till the scousers issue a thunderous left hook v Leicester a week tomorrow…. how he’ll be sounding after all that punishment is anyone’s guess4 points

I managed to avoid it all easily enough but it obviously involves not watching the news or putting BBC on. In the days of catch up TV and iPlayers it's a bit easier to do or you just go out somewhere. The only downside is somehow I've managed to get mild sunburn on my sexy personal solar panel.4 points

I'm not as confident in this one as I was for Man U and Spurs games for obvious reasons as they're a better side but saying that they're also worried about coming here with added pressure on them. I reckon the pressure might have slightly eased as they must know deep down it's probably over. No sloppy passes, everyone tracking, everyone finding the extra gear as we'll need it. It's a great opportunity to take a massive stride forward and also put a marker down that we're not that bad a side as well. This'll be my last match of the season attending and I've been to most of the homes, as long as we're undefeated for that I'll be happy in retrospect however I'll be plastering the walls with my own personal whitewash if we win.4 points

it does confuse me. the CFG group has been ploughing money into deprived areas around the world (like manchester) coupled with with our positive net spend for years now especially compared with the red teams and the fact we put money into football rather than leech from football... no stop, back in your corner... sorry about that, its the voices. but they're back under control i promise.3 points
