  4. what a fucking night man! all looked like it was gonna go awry. d8dnt get to a pub till they were starting to empty at 7,15, not a hope of a ticket for me mate and the pub closed at kick off so he couldn't even watch it there despite them having sky. so.... in a fucking couple of manoeuvres anybody from deepest toxteth would be proud of we managed to get him past the ticket checks 50 metres from the ground and in a ball crushing squeeze we got through the turnstile together on one ticket! sure the bloke knew, don't think he was bothered, tremendous! fair play to forest supporters, probably the best atmosphere from a home support ive seen for years, sadly put ours to shame. and then the match..... was a pleasure to be amongst our support tonight, never stopped singing, the disappointment of the disallowed goal but the fucking mayhem after isak's penalty! anyway, swear bruno knows every word of every song we sing, celebrated a fucking fantastic victory long after the final whistle!

  5. We don't demand a team that wins, we want a team that tries. These lads do that all game long.

  8. That's how you get the weekend started. Fucking class that. Bit gutted for Anderson mind, but he was fucking class when he came on. Looked the part and hopefully gets a lot more chances between now and the end of the season.

  12. Just had a lovely St. Patrick’s Day meal out with the family and selflessly offered to take the kids home and put them to bed while letting the wife head to the pub with her mates. The fact that it means I’m home to watch the match entirely undisturbed is purely coincidental.

  15. The arrogance comparing themselves to Brighton, Southampton, and Brentford btw Those three teams built good footballing sides, had a direction and aligned their managers with that direction, they bought under the radar players who fit their system and grew with the side. In what way are Sunderland emulating that? They’ve went from Alex Neil to Mowbray, no cross over in style and when you look at other candidates (such as Keane) there clearly is no philosophy in place. They’re heavily relying on loans, and those loans are ones which won’t become permanent. They had a little run of results which took them to solid mid table in the championship, under a heavily experienced manager that is a known quantity. I can’t see any comparables between the sides they think they emulate and themselves other than two of them also play in red and white Fucking basket cases.

  18. He’s an absolute cunt. I said it for the whole time he was here and it holds now, just an utter fucking scumbag. He basically spent the whole game intentionally trying to injure Bruno, I’ve no doubt whatsoever that was his intention but of course like most things for him he was incapable of executing it despite going through the back of the player three times. He’s a bitter, small, pathetic man. Was overhyped as he has a decent pass on him but the issue is he’s a loser mentally, no fight in him and he has rocks in his head so while he can physically play the ball well he can’t read the game. Hopefully his career ends soon, or fizzles out, I expect he will end up penniless given the way I’ve heard he acts off the pitch. So fucking glad we’re rid of him finally the spineless, violent little prick.

  26. Someone needs to tell them there's a Newcastle fan masterminding the Brentford philosophy as DoF, they'll sharp decide they don't think much of it after all.

  27. He's one of my favourite players to watch now like. Him and Bruno together, bossing the midfield, constantly harassing the opposition when they're in posession. Must admit I thought he was pure shite when he first came here. If he could just shoot a bit better, he would be absolute top level.

  33. I wonder if this phase of our transformation means we have to lean into the dark arts a little more. Once we add more, better players we won't need to spoil the game and impose ourselves as physically as we do because we've have the technical ability to play around trouble more often. @Howay got it spot on, a bit of good coaching and he looks a totally different player. Joelinton deserves credit himself for going off and getting outside coaching when Bruce was in charge. He can still improve every part of his game, but he's now a very good Premier League midfielder.

  34. It's like the minute things are going their way they convince themselves it's all part of the plan, when things go wrong it's because there is no plan. When things were going well for us under Benitez it's because we could see the work he was doing on the shape, on the system. When Bruce was getting a similar points haul it was despite a lack of tactics. We could see that so we didn't throw our cocks around. There just seem to be any critical thinking over there. A PR person's in charge, that's brilliant! Why, why is it brilliant to have someone in charge who's remit is to alter your perception of reality? We've got a young owner with access to a lot of money! Do you? Have you really thought about it? This process is going brilliantly! What process? If they were like Brighton and Brentford then they'd deserve credit, but just like every other middling second tier side. Some good kids on loan, maybe one or two better than average players for that league, but plenty just filling a shirt and a manager who's got experience. Take that team and that manager and dump them in Stoke shirts and nobody would bat an eye. You want a process, have a look at Burnley, Sheffield United, Swansea. They score highly on the "Fair Game Sustainability Index".
