At least it will be over soon, I haven't enjoyed a minute since the semi-final9 points

No fucking chance. The only thing I'd be confident in that situation would be my own impending myocardial infarction.8 points

Members are cunts who don't deserve a fucking thing, they're notoriously fickle fans who have barely been to a game in their life, I should know, I'm one. I can only dream of holding a season ticket in my hand and being a season ticket holder or even balancing a season ticket on my head and being a season ticket balancer. But alas, I am not worthy. I beg forgiveness from any season ticket clutcher I happen to pass in the street and shall prostate myself before them begging them for even just a small modicum of their piss should they wish to grant me some of their steaming stream and piss on me in the street. God bless them, each and every one.7 points

We sort of started the season like this, after we beat forest on the opening day we drew 5 and lost to Liverpool before we got our shit together. The only thing interrupting that run was a win in the league cup, which sounds alright.5 points

As long as they were playing flowing, one touch football, and every player looked worth £10m, they won't mind that at all. Results are secondary, made up intangibles are what football is really about.5 points

What's the issue here? From what I can make out, he supports Liverpool first due to meeting his partner there and them treating him well when he got his cancer diagnosis. Remember how NUFC treated Guitierez btw? He says he want Liverpool to qualify for the CL at the expense of ManU, not us. Honestly don't see why this makes him a helmet, why people are so sensitive about it, and for that matter why anyone gives a fuck either way?4 points

How’s everyone feeling today? I’m still smarting at the loss, a sense of injustice over the red card but in a weird way it’s great to feel gloomy about it. A home defeat to Liverpool would have been met by a shrug of the shoulders a couple of years back - it was just what we did. And we would have rolled over in years gone by and lost that game by 5 or 6. So it’s mixed emotions. It’s good to be genuinely disappointed by a loss again but I’m also proud of the team and they way they continued to try and get back into the game. I think Eddie will try and take the positives out of that performance into Sunday. I hope they go out and enjoy the cup final and play without fear. If they do that, anything can happen. The one sickener is Pope missing the final. He doesn’t deserve that4 points

Old Newcastle we lose that 6 nil. It was two total brain farts from us and a mix of two superb passes / play by them cunts. I was wondering. Yesterday for a large group of the players it must / could have been difficult and draining because of the news about Atsu. This morning after the emotions have settled, whilst I am gutted at a loss,im still proud how we battled. We still looked like we could grab a goal and get back in it. Like I said. Only our second loss in the league all season and our first loss at SJP. How many of us would have thought we would be saying that in Feb this season?4 points

Aye, the blokes a prick. He was at it again today: Absolute sniffer. Going to watch the match at Wembley apparently, the club should block his ticket when he tries to get in.4 points

I know exactly what you mean- I think. We are now clearly second-favourite to win the thing, which takes some pressure off and means we can say “ nowt to lose”. 1-0 Botman.3 points

Playing a sweeper keeper is a style of play that carries risk but so is pressing high up the pitch, which leaves us open to quick counter attacks, which is how we conceded the two goals yesterday. This style has got us to where we are. I’d much rather carry on playing like this and lose the odd game than retreat. I hope the goals conceded and the red card don’t cloud the players’ minds too much and they go out and play their normal game. That’s our best of winning on Sunday3 points

Don't worry Wykiki, he won't be commentating on us us next week, that'll be Tyler and GARY NEVILLE for the cup final v MANCHESTER UNITED. It's in the Sky rule book. Carragher does Liverpool, Neville Man U and when they play each other you get both in case either club's set of arsehole fans in the south of England and the Midlands get upset.3 points

I've reread all the books over the past 5 or so years. My main take is that they are in the main a bit shit, but still miles better than Wallams etc. The seqel to Charlie and Chocolate factory for instance is almost unreadaable now, not surprised its never been made into a film. Bit I did love that book as a kid with imagination. There is also definitely a whiff of mysogny running through some books like the Witches. However, Esio Trot is something else. Basically imagines the World as a sex pest's point of view. Really a bit disturbing getting into the head of Gemmill, but a great laugh nontheless. CS Lewis stuff must be next for the ban surely. The Last Battle is pure Islamophobic nonsense. Then there's Tolkein which is almost a white supremacist/eugenics manual. And I hear Harry Potter hates the LGTBIQA+ movement or something. Hard to keep us with kids nowadays, sometimes I just want to give up and join the ranks of Gemmill's Mam.3 points

I can totally understand why he went there at that time. But the way he goes on, man. It was a pretty shit move for him and Liverpool as he did very little there and was injured most of the time. The wanker seems to think he’s a club legend.3 points

Anderson 4-14 at 40, unreal, best ever IMO Broad/Anderson most wickets in history playing as a pair, considering how crap Englsnd were for big chunks of their careers that is phenomenal tbh. McGrath/Warne are legends, but considering they played for a team invariably on top it makes Broad/Anderson's landmark all the more impressive.3 points

So Alan Smith does sky's main super Sunday game I see but Neville does the earlier game which sky usually ignore which happens to be Man U? Don Goodman does two Saturday night games recently involving us v Palace and Bournemouth yet yesterday v Liverpool, surprise, surprise it's Carragher. So basically sky are telling us that two of the PL clubs have their own designated ex-players for commentating on and that's perfectly ok? Aye, no bother sky you fucking cunts.2 points

In a daft way I'm slightly more relaxed about us next week and fancy us a bit more than I did pre-liverpool game.2 points

Why take issue with anyone poking fun at NUFC, or saying things about us if that’s the argument then? When a commentator puts down NUFC and bigs up Liverpool, why is anyone arsed? Sorry like the blokes a wanker, we have our keeper sent off and he will miss a final and the blokes posting stuff laughing about it - call it sensitive but that’s football no? If you make the argument you’re making why be arsed about anything to do with footy I’m sick of all these ex players of ours who have been wankers for years and then when it suits them they’ll cash in that ex player card, for example he’s going to the final. Call it sensitive sure but actual fans can’t get to the match while people like him have a seat, and as I say if we’re not bothered about how he’s acting why take issue with anything to do with football?2 points

Like, if we’re chasing a goal, it’s like for like changes rather than throwing two up front. I think it be because they work so hard on the system and how to press in training. Everyone knows their role and they work on it all week so he’s reluctant to switch up the style too much2 points

I think the strength in depth I.e lack of one, dictates we don't have a plan B 😂2 points

Teams go through sticky patches. We have lost one, just ONE in our sticky patch. If thats the only loss, then lets have it.2 points

Very similar feelings. I know a few bin dippers and their messages of 'told you we would beat you' etc are just totally ignoring how they didn't really offer fuck all threat at all. I also had several messages from Dirty Leeds fans and my in laws to say how Newcastle arses have dropped out and we're in free fall blah blah. Concentrate on not get relegated eh lads? It's clear how much of a rock Bruno is. However the speed we started that team yesterday was great and we still carried a bigger threat going forward than Liverpool IMO. It was just some final decision making or poor efforts that was the difference. The way the LFC TV, sorry Sky Sports went on you would have thought they had just nailed Real 5-0. Fuck em anyways.2 points

He was an idiot and Trips was pretty much at fault for both goals IMHO but both have plenty of credit in the bank. Don't want it to continue in that fashion.2 points

I was offered a ticket by a friend of a friend for a grand yesterday. I’m sure there are fans desperate to go who will pay that much and I can see why people are cashing in during s cost of living crisis but it’s taking the piss out of fellow fans. I was hoping to get a seat with our fans but I couldn’t justify paying that much.2 points

I've got a photograph of him with my daughter from an NUFC Xmas party, around 2018 I think. My wife attended this, not me, but apparently he was very canny (my daughter loved Matty Longstaff and has a great photo of him being photobombed by Sean, but thats another story). Feels horribly sad he was robbed of his life in this way. RIP Christian. Thoughts to your family.2 points

Although you personally haven't offended me, you have just reminded me I had a dream last night where a few of us were in Madrid after a game and the locals were just being horrible then trying to pick off stragglers and beat them up, not only that but they were obviously kick boxers so it was even more of a shit house move, I went back in and wasn't happy with the locals but tried to keep my cool till one tried to take the piss and I was about to get a punch in before being jumped on by him and his mates but woke up. I obviously know it was a dream but I'm still slightly in the huff with you.2 points
